Has anyone had any seat issues, noticed on a friends 599 that the actual seat material has pulled out at the side, in other words the leather has pulled away from the carbon fiber backing.

Not too impressive but looking at a new 2009 car it seems Ferrari have changed the method used to attach the leather covering to the carbon back.

I have to say apart from this the fit and finish of the car has been very good, it noticeable how much better the cars are build these days and how quality has taken real steps forward.

Our 599 had that issue and was fixed under warranty.

Other than that fit & finish is very good indeed.

What year is your 599 Carlo, this one is a late 2007 model with the Daytona's. I assume itsa fairly easy warranty fix? Car is going into the dealer tomorrow.

It's a MY2007 and she doesn't have the Daytona seat pattern. I'm not sure what this seat pattern is called.

Isn't this the standard seat pattern? Mine's like that too.

Edit: Wow after looking at your car again, I think brown interiors make the car look more friendly and welcoming!

The standard seat pattern is the one in the pic below.

I really like our 599's interior too. The color is called cuoio. I like it much better than beige (which is also shown in the pic below) as I think cuoio is a much warmer color.

With your 599's exterior being yellow, a black interior was the best option (IMO). The yellow stitching is a nice touch.

Carlo, I think your pattern comes with the full electric seats. Go to the configurator and change standard (= waffle design LOL) to full electric. You'll see what I mean.

The seats in my 599 squeek now and then, under acceleration, etc.. I was wondering if I can get any lubricant on them? It's starting to go away, haven't noticed it much lately so maybe they are getting broken in (about 2000 miles on the car now). Anyone else with squeeky seats?

Yes. You're right indeed. It comes standard with the full electric Recaros.
