Kimi not going to Red Bull Eurosport - Tue, 20 Oct 17:14:00 2009 Red Bull Racing will retain their 2009 line-up for next season despite speculation linking former world champion Kimi Raikkonen will the squad. It has been suggested two-times grand prix winner Mark Webber, who triumphed in the penultimate race of the season in Brazil last weekend, could be moved to 'junior' sister outfit Toro Rosso to make way. Red Bull were reportedly unhappy with comments the Australian made concerning Flavio Briatore, his manager and former Renault managing director who was banned for life for playing a key role in that team's 'Crashgate' scandal. He said he would never employ anyone other than Briatore in that role. If true, the move would have paired Finn Raikkonen, the 2007 world champion who is being replaced by Fernando Alonso at Ferrari, with Sebastian Vettel, second in the drivers' standings. "That's a rumour that does not exist within our team," team principal Christian Horner told F1SA. "We all know where we stand with Mark next year, and he does too. "He's a great team player (and) we're very happy with his performance, so there is no doubt that Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will be our race drivers next year." Raikkonen is widely tipped to return to McLaren, while Toyota are also interested but put off by his wage demands. Webber has a contract with Red Bull until the end of next season. That will be a problem. The WMSC said "...it does not intend to renew any Superlicence granted to any driver who is associated (through a management contract or otherwise) with Mr. Briatore, or any entity or individual associated with Mr. Briatore."
