    Steve, I would see if you can find some test pipes cheaper than this, I know mine were a lot cheaper than that, I have Tubi test pipes, they look nothing like cats, just a pipe with a slight bend in is a flange welded on at one end and I think maybe a spot for the sensor to bolt in but not needed on our 2.7 cars...

    Something this simple should not cost that sort of money....an exhaust shop should be able to whip some up if you can't find any pre made.

    James, You're right, there certainly isn't much in these beyond the flanges and pickups. I liked this DIY thread:

    Probably a third the cost....still turnkey is nice...

    I believe when they say "will pass emission inspection" that they mean a visual inspection, that a cat appears to be present. However, since Michigan doesn't have any emission inspection requirements someone else will need to confirm this theory.

    Will removing the cats cause any CEL lighs or rough runnin engine.
    I see thers o2 sensors before and after the cats. Will it cause the
    engine to go lean?
