I think the interior is really beautiful, especially the gated shifter. I've never used one before, but I think it's a much better than short shifters in Japanese cars. Sometimes I can't quite tell if I'm in first or reverse because the two gears are right next to each other!

The SLR and the CGT look great too, but can they be driven on Malaysian roads?

Sungei Besi & they also have Sunway where many tuners are + Naza etc. In fact, the auto industry is pretty big here.

Yeah that's true. I guess it has to do with the competition of the GT-R. For so long, it has been the only real supercar from Japan with exception of the NSX so ppl are bound to compare the LFA with it. I guess limited edition run is their only advantage to attract buyers at this kind of price.
Oh my, it sounds like KL has even more rare exotics than us.

Yeah mate, but maintaining that snow white cabin will be a nightmare. The factory plastic on part of the carpet is still intact!

The metal gate gives off a nice "ting" everytime u slam it in but it looks a wee bit thin on the stalk for this one. (It broke on my F348 years ago & had to limp home on 1st gear!) The travel can be too long so you can't shift as fast as a normal shifter.

Yes, LHDs can be registered here.

OK. goodnite boys, I got to go.

Oh. Btw, should I do a re-sale red on the 456? or just wax it?

maybe i am just a sucker for pop up headlights but the 456 does look good. the interior looks nice and pristine and overall just a pretty looking car :)

the SLR and CGT are really something but what caught my eye is that little grey bull.

Speaking of Beijing, where are all the exotics? I've been here for 4 days and haven't seen anything except for a QP and an Arnage in the city centre. Plenty of Audis and VWs here though.

Wow the interior looks pristine for an old car! The shape looks really good too. U should get it man it's a really nice car!
Exactly! Their 6.0 V12 in the DBS and V12 Vantage only produces 510hp, which is meagre compared to other similar engines. But I guess they felt it was enough since Astons were meant for cruising.
Yeah gated shifters look really cool! Always wanted to try one out myself. And yes Msia allows both LHD and RHD.

Exactly what colour is it now anyway? The pics don't show it very well. Is it dark purple? Or is it black?

Btw are SLRs just designed like that or is the bonnet of the SLR not closed properly?

Too bad our government doesn't allow LHD :( It's not as if LHD cars are any less safe the RHD cars.

Nero Fer = Black. Don't exactly dig this color but the cabin matches well & it's an old car so I won't be too bothered about color change. The Aston DB9 there has a splendid black with stardust gold/silver though.

Anyway, I've made an offer to the dealer & let's see if I can have a dream garage :)

The Bonnet was not closed properly, I have the nose view.

That's Solano the Peruvian. He's still playing, but given his age, I doubt if he still does back flips.

Fortunately you didn't misspell "boned" with a 'r' - phew!

Looks like we have some closet Asterix fans here - me, Sareve, Lung, MP..... :)

    Anyone into Tintin?
