Do 4 more days next week then have the month off of November. So I will have a crack at it when I come back from holidays, say December some time. I think so too SD. Actually, I will go and see the saddle repairer first and get his thoughts on making me a new one and I will see what his take is on feeding/repairing this one. I may have a new tool kit lined up, if I do then I may not even worry about this one at all. Just sell it as is on Ebay.

This is bigger news then when Queen Elizabeth II visited Sydney back in 1954! Em, you're SOOOOOOOOOOO naughty! She isnt coming this trip, sadly. Just a short trip this time as I can only come down on days off. Next time I visit, I will most likely come with Nicole and we will spend more time there with you guys.

My dad bought it new still first owner. hadnt been registered for about 20 yrs. had a cover on it for about 10 years. when i went to take the cover off one day the fabric of the cover wrecked the paint. (it sort of melted into the paint) so i got the whole car sprayed. only 40 k kms from new. I KNEW you would pick that up about the horn. when i got it resprayed the 2 horns went missing. so i got one from a wrecker. just so it works for now. hard to find. but ill get them restored. even has the 8 track stereo.
Quite possibly it is beyond the pale. However a side of me is offended by neglected leather sitting around. With harness its such a safety point, I'm long conditioned to just getting it done.
Here you go Mody, you would have liked this place. It was in Freudenburg in Germany earlier this year. The museum was not "officially" open due to the snow. Bloody cold but very interesting. Thanks. Germany is really big on warm bloods. They are right into harness driving in all forms and ridden dressage. jumping etc. Quite a large warm blood breeding industry around Freudenburg, if I remember correctly.
OK, that explains the museum. I went to visit an engineering company and was stuck there for the weekend. As you do I just started walking and stumbled across this museum. It's actually a very small town and the fact that you know about it is amazing. I have a heap of pics from that visit. I love the old manufacturing factories, Here's a couple of more pics.
