Fascinating. You just let us know when your YouTube friend brings his Pagani over. I'll let you know when my Facebook friend brings his McLaren over. Then we can have a nice imaginary party on whatever stretch of Georgia 400 links Florida and New Jersey.

    Recent sightings:

    Monday October 19:
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Bone's on Piedmont.
    - black Bentley Arnage at Lenox Mall valet.
    - black Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - black Rolls-Royce Phantom on Missouri plates at Lenox Mall's car wash.

    Tuesday October 20:
    - gray Aston-Martin DB9 on wildlife (eagle) plates at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
    - gray Ferrari F430 Spider on Peachtree just south of West Paces.
    - white Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 on Texas temporary plates on Lenox Road waiting to turn northbound on to Peachtree; here's a neat shot from further away.
    - white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder just a few cars ahead of the above LP560, also waiting to turn northbound on to Peachtree from Lenox Road.

    Wednesday October 21:
    - black Acura NSX (the rare 2002-2005 model) at the Mansion valet.
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage turning on Peachtree turning on to Roxboro Road.
    - red Aston-Martin V8 Vantage in front of Emory's admissions building, as ever.
    - black Bentley Arnage in valet at Terminus.
    - black Ferrari F430 parked at a roadside stand on Roswell Road near Wieuca. The subsequent photo I took showing the car and the whole stand is really neat, showing the contrast between the car and what looks like a country store. Sometimes these cars allow for great photo ops!
    - yellow Ferrari F430 Spider, undoubtedly on Florida plates whose number I have by now memorized, parked in the parking lot for Junkman's Daughter and the Vortex in Little Five Points off Moreland Avenue.
    - black Tesla Roadster on 'Alternative Fueled Vehicle' plates on Lenox Road just south of East Paces Ferry.

And how about an interesting vanity plate that I'm surprised the state of Georgia let on to the road...

How do you see all of these NSXs? I love these cars and NEVER see them out!

And yes, very nice vanity plate! Very interesting that it got approved.

And I only photograph the 02-05 models! Andrew shoots all of them and sees considerably more. They're around - I'm surprised you don't see them!

Indeed. But then again, there was this one, too.

A car of that stature wouldnt be driven across multiple states unless it was part of some big rally (Gumball or Bullrun) of some sort. If it was moved, it would be in a closed car transport.

And hey, if you did see, good for you. But this thread means nothing without pictures.

I did. What doesn't make sense is that it was spotted (supposidly in Jersey) and i saw it on GA400 headed towards the mountains. There are only 6 in USA and only 2 are registered on the east coast. It might be 2 different ones but it had Tampa bay plates and was headed North on 400

I too saw the 550 Barchetta yesterday, but I saw it going the opposite direction on I85 (at least 30 miles north of Atlanta) on my way home from North Carolina. Where about did you see him?

Not to be mean or anything but those bentleys around atlanta are a dime a dozen and are way too common to be posted up unless they are the speed or supersport versions. Same thing goes with those porsches.

    For today:
-GT3 RS in garage parking lot in Lenox. First one up close, looks fantastic.
    -Yellow F430 at Phipps
-Black 328 GTS at Howell Mill. I believe hes on Fchat since I think I saw his car at Italian Car Day.
    -Black Phantom at Aquanox

    Notable spots:
    -Green V8 Vantage
    -Purple Alpina B7
    -Silver F430 spider

And the most hilarious picture of the day goes to a C6 corvette with a ridiculous wing. Had a picture of a high heel on the wing. Coincidentally, it was driven by a women.

Here is the collection for last nights spots:http://www.flickr.com/photos/purvilpatel/sets/72157622657067008/

Nice to see all the photos, Sir Robbins and Purvil! Purvil, how can you tell that the GT3 you saw is an RS and not just a "regular" GT3? The one GT3RS I saw said "GT3RS" on the rear, and many of them say it on the side as well. I'm not saying you're wrong by any means since I'm by no means a Porsche expert, but I'm curious. The 328 belongs to Tom Spiro, known as spirot on F-chat. He's a great guy - you should've said hi to him!

Meanwhile, Sir Robbins, I tend to agree with Purvil - Andrew and I typically shy away from posting any Bentleys that are not Arnages or "Speed" models; the regular ones are just too damn common. Same goes for Porsches that aren't the GT models. And Andrew (ZonderF) even stopped posting a lot of Aston-Martins! That said, post whatever you want, it's up to you - as long as you have pictures I'll approve!

A few sightings from me from the last few days:

    Friday October 24:
    - silver Aston-Martin V8 Vantage at Hotel Palomar in Midtown.
    - silver Ferrari F430 Spider at the St. Regis.
    - terrible photo of a white Rolls-Royce Phantom at a nightclub/restaurant on Piedmont just south of Peachtree.

    Saturday October 25:
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on Peachtree.
    - white Bentley Continental GTC Speed (my first GTC Speed sighting!) on vanity plate KRNDIVA on Lenox Road at Piedmont.
    - blue Ferrari F355 Spider, undoubtedly after it left T Rutlands, on Lenox Road approaching East Paces Ferry in Buckhead.

Hey man! Great spot on the Porsche but I have to agree that this is a Porsche GT3 and not a GT3 RS. There are a lot of subtle differences but to name a few - the rear spoiler and the wheels are the main details to look for from the outside. The rear spoiler on your spot is lower than a RS but an RS would have exposed metal supports for the spoiler and the ends of the spoiler won't be flared. Also, the center caps of a RS will have the RS logo - not the GT3 logo. For the interior, they are very similar but the RS will have a HUGE roll cage and the steering wheel will have a yellow stripe (I believe optional on the GT3) at 12 o'clock.

But otherwise, awesome spotting, keep it up!

I love having you on here! :)

Good to know - I imagine I won't get too many chances to spot your car up here in Atlanta so I'm glad I did! It's gorgeous and I thought the picture of it in motion came out nicely.

Ya, sorry guys. I guess it must have been the time I posted the original message. I was out of it at 5 in the morning and dont know how I even posted. How stupid of me to call it a GT3 RS. But ya, this is the second gen 997 GT3. I love the center locking hubs. I think all cars should have that :D

As for the 328, I kind of had a feeling that it was Tom, but he seemed to be in a rush to I didnt want to keep him from that.

Yeah. Don't worry Doug and all. No more Bentleys although I saw a Brooklands recently. If I see it again, will I be yelled at if I post the pics? lol anyways, since this is technically a Ferrari chat posting, I got a photo in an email of what appears to be a Ferrari FXX Evo on the road, mirrors and all!! Here you guys go! Enjoy!
