I was just wondering what system you guys are using.

I switched to Apple two years ago and I couldn't be happier.

Linux (Ubuntu). Extremly fast, free, no one spies on me, and the fanboys are much more endurable than the Apple crowd ;)

Vista Business on laptop and XP Home Premium on the main PC.

Vista: More unstable than a granny on crack... Never again.
XP Home Premium: After changing layout to something more fancy, it works for all my needs and is at least twice as stable as Vista...

But I am curious on Apple's OS' though!

Mac - Ever since OSX first appeared - "It's Unix after all!".....

Rob - Without getting too "fanboyish", give it a go - You'll never go back to Windoze....

Where's the multiple choice for those of us who use different horses for different courses?

Currently using Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows 7 Pro, Mac Snow Leopard, Ubuntu, Fedora, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, a couple of other live Linux distros for special purposes, still have a machine running Windows 95, bunch of other OSs hanging around on disk "just in case".

Made a "hackintosh" recently by loading Snow Leopard on a MSI netbook. Took some tweaking, but it runs great and is rock solid. Also run all the above plus IBM AIX. Yes, I'm a geek for a living! ;)

I run OS/2 on a desktop at home and on a laptop at work. My computer needs are pretty basic and the system covers all my needs. It is light on resources and is very stable. I don't get virus or other malware problems.

Well, less than 1%. but it still beats Linux.

I can't wait for Google to release their fully web-based OS. Once they can get a computer to load Google Docs and their other apps WITHOUT a traditional "desktop", Windows will be obsolete for the average casual computer using person.

    :)

I can't for them to do this on the a phone.

Verizon droid due very soon, I think it will give both MS and the Iphone serious competition.

I voted Linux, I do have four machines running it, have 5 Macs, a ton of XP-Pro, and one 64 bit Vista workstation running.

XP Pro is what our main OS is, no problems to speak of. It will be interesting to see how Windows 7 plays out.
