I would like to start a thead where all we do is ID our fluids in our car ... just to see what everone is using, Like this:

    1994 348 spider (56k miles)

Gear oil: Changed from stock to Redline 90w/75NS (Slight improvment)
Engine oil: Always used Mobile 1 synthetic 10W30 (No Difference)
Coolant: Always used Prestone (No difference)

No other comments ... just a quick fluids review

    Black 1990 348 TB (23k)

Gear oil: Redline 90w/75NS (Big improvement especially the second time is changed the tranny oil!)

Engine oil: I started with Mobile 1 synthetic 10W30 and had low oll pressure at idle and excessive foaming. I switch to Royal Purple 10w30 and it works great!

Coolant: Always used Prestone (I occasional had a slight coolant leak with my bran new water pump 50 Prestone/50 water mix at start up. After going to a 30 Prestone/70 water mix the leak stopped???)

    1999 F355 Spider F1

Just had my 30k and I know nothing about gear oils.

    My mechanic used the following:

Gear Oil: Redline 75w90 NS--Holy Smokes! NO jerkiness in the F1 and shifts like butter!

Engine oil: Lubro Moly 5w40 Synthetic

I have no idea what other fluids he used for coolant, etc.

Um...why is my Redline 75w90 and other people's on here seems to be 90w75 NS?????

    Gear oil: Redline
    Engine oil: Redline 10/40
