Looking for help with advise on how to correct cutting on my front tires that noticed a few months ago.
I have an 03 360 with new Bridgestone Potenza tires aprox 500 miles. The wheels are the OEM upgrade from factory and I put the same tires/sizes that came from the factory when I replaced them about 4 months ago.
There is clearly enough room from tire to fender lip but the tires are starting to catch and not only are they cutting into the tire but it has bent the lip of the fender and pulled it down. Car is not driven aggressively and not tracked.
Suspension has checked out to be in perfect working order. tire pressure is perfect.
I am trying to determine why this has become a problem and how to fix the bent lip without damaging paint?? Currently the paint is not chipped or cracked on the lip of the fender but how does one go about properly bending lip back to original state or possibly even more degree without damage to paint?
Pls advise. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am in the Phoenix area and any referral to a proper wheel shop with equipment is also appreciated.
    thanks.

Do a search under "fender rolling" to see description of the process. Many people have done it.

For a given nominal size not all tires are the same shape, or size for that matter, amongst brands or within the same brand. So it sounds like your new tires are just a little wider and more square around the shoulder to catch inner lip of your fender. It usually happens when turning and going over a bump.

Turn your steering wheel hard left and hard right while parked and you can see how close you tire shoulder is getting to the fender lip.

    I had the same problem.

    1. Fender roller... Works, but is hard to make work on the 360, what works better is some elbow grease

Turn the wheel in either direction to get access to the buldge. Get a BAT or a thick hard metal stick, hammer, some clothes and angle it in there, and use your might to push it back without breaking anything or scratching anything...

I have 19" 8.5 wheels infront which have caused this in the past. Super annoying and it happends when turning into a BUMP.

As the others have said, this is not unique to your car.
Many people (including me when I had my 360) put 19" wheels on the car and fender rolling became mandatory.

It's a relatively simple procedure, but not one I'd recommend doing yourself. It's inexpensive and, I think, worth a few hundred bucks to have it done professionally.

The million dollar question is why didn't Ferrarir realize this design error before they went full production with the car?

You definately want to have the fenders "rolled" by a professional. My '02 360 has 19" wheels and this was a problem. Don't try this yourself...it's too expensive of a mistake. Have a pro do this because he has the right tools to do this without cracking the paint. This will solve your problem.
