Tonkichi @ Orchard Central. the Katsu-Don is to die for! its my favourite so far. above Tonkichi there's this one called Ootoya(hope i spelled it right). wanting to try that but its always packed and there's a queue so i assume it must mean something. another good one will be Matsuo Sushi @ Goldhill Plaza @ Novena. if all else fails, there's always a Sushi Tei pretty much anywhere
Yes, Ootoya is velly good, but seating is limited and the last time I was there, had to wait 45 mins for a table. Tonkichi is most famous for their Katsu, but they have other outlets at Shaw House & Suntec. Just a word of caution for all drivers: The OC car park is one of the worst in terms of accessibility. You'll have to drive up 6 floors of a roundabout ramp to get to the first level of the car park, of which you're unlikely to find a lot given the limited numbers. After that, you'll have to get back onto the ramp and 'circle up' another 3 levels before you're likely to find a lot.
