It's that time of year, anyone have any good ideas for a halloween costume?
The ones that will be overplayed this year: Micheal Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Kanye West & Taylor Swift, and like Wax said, Balloon boy. Can't think of anymore off the top of my head, that's all I have for now.
i like the understated stuff. a little rubber cement and pinch your top lip add a fake beard and dark glasses to make joachim phoenix. a cop uniform with a black ponytail wig for steven sagal. a piece of foam board around your face with a turban and beard for a fbi wanted poster.
Just PLEASE don't do this one - Walmart is in pretty hot water over it... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fixed, Target was the first company to have it. And to the company, it isn't an illegal alien if it has a GREEN CARD!!! Morans
I got this green wrap that Capt Kirk wore in TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES, maybe I'll carry a TRIBBLE with me too I have a great Batman costume but its too dam hot in Miami for that Image Unavailable, Please Login
My friend and his two buddies went as a three pack of Trojan condoms a few years ago. Got big flat cardboard boxes, glued some blue tarp material over them (made a ring out of newspaper for the condoms), then had a sign company make the Trojan logo, etc... It was a hit! Hinged with packing tape they were there together and left with three girls! I also like the handwalking costumes. Take some overalls and a mask, put gloves on your feet and sandals on your hands. Hang the mask at the neck and wobble your arms wildly. BT
I think that one is absolutely hilarious. But pretty sure it's been done before. I'm going as Swine Flu. Although I think it's going to be a popular one this year because I cannot find any pig stuff. All I have is a nose, going to have to make-shift a tail and may have to do without ears. Nope, it's not politically correct.
I just finished my costume today. I make my own (with some sewing help from the mother) every year and try to do something unusual and crafty. This year I'm a speedbump. Bright yellow material sewn into a scrubs uniform with tire tracks crossing over. I work in an automotive facility so no problem finding some decent treads that I just spray painted and rolled over. Cheap too, ran me $9. I'll post pics later this week
