Guys, I need some opinions. Do you think I should change the colour? It's black with cream interior, I don't mind Rosso corsa or something like Le mans Blue. Perhaps even titanium to flow the lines better. Maybe even two tone like Zagatos with a different coloured roof & they actually did a 2 tone for the Schumacher edition of the 456GTM. Once I go customising, I would lower the car by at least 20mm as it sits too high now. Bigger brakes & 18" as the stock brake is weak now IMHO. Then some interesting exhaust to wake it up. Another route is to keep it concours as it is. Just wax it up & maintain it. In 6yrs time, I can apply it for classic status to pay just 20% of the roadtax which is RM12K now. leave it as it is... I think black is great color for the car. Maybe do a black interior...I am fixated over black interiors now
I think it's very nice as it is now too. The interior seems to be in amazingly good condition considering the car's age. I think the Zagato two tone is quite nice too though, it'll certainly make your car stand out, but I wouldn't change anything else. Especially since you're using it to replace your M5, if you lower it, it might not be as good a daily driver anymore.
i agree ... i saw the panamera & didn't like it ... especially the rear ... but, one after mkt kit makes it look aggressive ........ tho the rear is still yuck!
i personally don't much care for the 599 or the 612 ... the 430 is rite up my alley ... & now the 458 .....
Dude! That is the most beautiful car I have seen posted on this thread. Of course Im a little biased. The interior, the exterior... AAA+ Lower the car, 18", bigger brakes, louder exhaust,, and bham!! Winner of the nicest car 2009 award...
The car looks beautiful with the exisiting color scheme. I'd keep it the way it is just like an old timepiece. Classic car should remain classic looking, why pimp it to look like anything else modern IMHO. I am sure you will make the right decision. Congrats on your purchase Jon! Drive in great health.
Oh my goodness that was really damn close!!!! Please don't beat me Then I'll have to play like a mad man and try to catch up!
Thanks mate. The wheel gap is huge, I'm looking @ possibly 3 fingers? Thank you sir. Wow, this is a HUGE compliment. Thank you thank you. bows.... To be honest, I still think it looks a little like the Hyundai coupe but rather that shameless Korean did a carbon copy! That said, I've been looking for a GT for a while & even comtemplated the Maserati GT but just can't afford it while the 911 doesn't have proper rears nor a boot. My M5 was great but lacked pedigree & this came along just @ the right time. It belongs to a Royal garage so it has been pampered. By coincidence, the 1st Ferrari souvenir I bought about 10yrs ago is this & I realised that I actually have a buying guide @ home too, plus the featured car is black! So it has been pre-destined Thanks mate, haven't heard from you for a while now. I'm 50% with you on this too & looking forward to many drives with her. Image Unavailable, Please Login
