    Because I do, hahaha!
I also buy fixer uppers cheap then realize I don't have time for them...
I would post this in aftermarket wheels thread, but I don't have any pics just yet. But you all should show your collections!

If you have 16" OEM wheels for a 308, I'll be happy to take them off your hands. . .

I have about four extra sets of OEM 14"s and an extra set of BBS 16"s....I dunno.

Is that too many, for three cars?

Are you trying to do anything with the extra set of BBS 16"s? Like perhaps some sort of trade towards a fifth set of 14"ers?

    Well I sold my 308...
I still drive a very modified Volvo 940 Turbo however, which like ferrari is a 5x108 bolt pattern... Typically, about a +20mm offset or so... The guy that bought it had no interest in any of my aftermarket wheels ("They all need work" & "I can fit new tires to the TRX that are on the car for that price!" come to mind) and I was sorta' left with them...
I've sold one set already... Now I just have to sell the rest. I have wheels stashed in friend's houses and everything...

If the aftermarket wheels are 16"ers I might have some interest depending on what you have. Especially if I can find somebody that wants my stock 14" set. PM me with what you got.

But at least you can pick any one up on a whim.
My wheels just sit there until I get bored and decide to spend a ton of time cleaning, repairing, etc... or if they're already like that, spend a day mounting tires to them, putting them on the car, and then mucking about with them.

In an effort to 'save' my original Campagnolo wheels AND tires (ancient Goodyear Arrivas) for my 74 Pantera, I went on a wheel hunt.

Never meant for this to happen, but ended up with (6) 7" rims, (6) 8" rims, (4) 10" Euro GTS rims. Weirdest thing I ever saw. Must've been in a funk sending PayPals for wheels all over the place.

I kept moving the rims from spot to spot so my wife wouldn't be onto the gig. Eventually sold the 10s (except 'my' set) a pair of 8's, mounted up my 'originals', and still have a pile of 7s. Plan is to turn them into shelves.

    Not really, want them?

It's four, I'll have to put a tape measure on them, but IIRC they are (2) 7"s and (2) 8" wide....

My dear old silver haired Mom would be thrilled!! LOL!

So your wife is going to see rims everywhere she looks, and even though they're the same set that you keep moving from place to place, it'll look to her like the entire place is FULL of them. . .
    Shelves?

PLEASE post a photo when you get this project done!

Yeah, that would've been like me: engineer myself to get into more trouble! I meant places she DIDN'T see them.

There are a couple ways. One requires sawing one into quarters, thus 4 shelf brackets. (One of my rims has some corrosion, but not THAT bad.) The other way is vertically, holding shelves in their width. This'll use up 4 of them! If not too embarrassed, I'll share pics.

    I have 390's, Campy 14's and a set of 16 BBS.
    Came with 390's.
Bought a set of 14's and new Sumi tires for the price of 1 390 tire.
Bought a set of 16 BBS powder coated black. I keep checking the balance, turned out one of the front BBS was not true, so I am back with the 14's.
Too many? My wife thinks so.

I would be happy to help someone if they have a 360 Modena wheel collecting problem! :D

I would like to install a set of 360 wheels onto my '82 308. Any idea on what this takes? Spacers? Do I need to have the wheels machined down? Someone had mentioned that I would need to run 4 front wheels because of clearance issues in the rear.

I've seen these mounted on other 308's, but never had a chance to talk to someone that has actually done it. Any advice/info would be appreciated!

ha ha, sad eh, but I really do like my estima - it's nice to have a car for different moods. That one is the everyone plus a serious luggage fits in it.

I did have a Fiat wheel collection, just because they were cheap, but all that changed when I bought my GT4. I thinned out to only have important spares.
