Jon, since now you have been spending substantial time in KL, I like to ask how is the security issue over there especially when you drive your sg plate sports car?
I'm quite keen. Took Mrs K to see it immediately after a test drive in the cali & she liked it. Actually .. she like both
ok Ive got to admit .. I've poked a lot of fun at the Cali, especially at Mike's expense, but I took it for a drive today and was quite surprised by it. The engine sounded really good and I had it popping & gurgling all over the place. The gear shifts are TOO sharp for my liking .. very much like Porsche's Tiptronic so you do miss a lot the feel. You sit a lot higher than the F430 Spider so you also have better all round vision, and dont really feel like you're driving a sports car becoz of it. Overall, it is better than I thought but still not a car for me. And YES, I still think it's a chicks car!

The diagnostics showed up an irregular reading on the left bank but they said it might just need a reprogramming as everything else reads ok. That being said driving home just now I was accelerating hard at about 7.5k rpm and the revs just disappeared as I changed up, lurching me forward as if I'd hit the brakes .. which makes me worried! Still no warning lights and it acted normal over the next 30 minutes under similar accleration so who knows.
no I didnt ask the price, but clearly the GTS has firmer suspension than you remember, as it stayed on 2 wheels when I sat in it
I drove all my spore plate sports cars in KL for 4 years.. .no problem. Just have to watch where u park and where to go. But generally ok. Cars that get stolen are usually RX300, CRV, Protons... not the exotics.
I know someone who puts a pillow below and sits on it. But that more a height issue rather than comfort
Bro Lung, I do hope the 458 gear box will have the character like the Scuderia gear box and not super smooth like normal double clutch system.
