In june i organised a 45 car run on some beutiful Scottish country roads. Despite warning everyone else to be careful of the roads and the directions, I got my convoy lost and then drove into a ditch cracking the front spoiler and suspension.

Decided to do an almost complete respary on the big beastie and finally, finally got her back today! The garage were getting so fed up that i thought they would as promised use B & Q white gloss trade emulsion! They are not easy cars to paint or get the details right on!

Decided to keep the side 'seal' lines

anyway here are a few pics of the beastie back home and of course it just started to rain, heavily!

Good point Greg, Ive also noticed the silicone filler in a variety of hues as well. However, 1120001 is a hastily-built prototype and the gaps are pretty bad.

It has the circular Carello turnsignal lens in the front fender, just like 1120001. We know that Wolf's 1120006 had the square units as shown clearly in the delivery images taken by Zagari in the factory courtyard dated 5/1974.

So what about 1120004, circular or square?

Ive concluded that LP400 were delivered with 4 different applications on the underside of the engine bonnet:

    - No stickers
    - Agip antifreeze (shown above) and Agip fluids (gold foil) stickers - example below
    - Agip antifreeze sticker only
    - Agip fluids only

    Any thoughts contrary?

thanks for the kind words guys.

It's nice to have all the cars back together. Just hoping we have some more good weather and no salt on the rods for a while so I can keep driving them!

Raymond, I still have a bit to do to the car and put some miles under the wheels to see how she goes. When been off the road so long and so many parts off the car for the respray as you know things go worng! lol. Had to fix the fan fuses as they werent cutting in but car was still coolish as In Scotland at this time of year it isn't hot! I forgot how nice it is to drive and how 'tight' and together everything feels on these cars. The new front koni dampers give a lot more control and fluency to the damping. I think I wil get them to make a set for the rear too and fit them over the winter. I do need some reversing cameras or devces though!

imo there is no need for a camera or parcking sensors, Paul

just open the door and sit on the sill...as Valentino did ;)

it may look silly and for showing off until you try it... but it actually worcks GREAT :)

parking a countach -while being outside- is actually easy and error proof

    lol
    sorry Joe
My reversing at the best of times is awful! Being Of Italian parents, I seem to be able to go forwards but not back! Most people say when I park, thats it's fine they will walk to the kerb!
the driveway to my house is 100ft and is a bit twisty. At night it is a real hassle especially if it is raining as it is now. Can hardly se a thing in the CT. i live in an old house ( 140 years ) where all the houses have large gardens with lots 0f trees and 6-7ft separating walls, so can't really light them up a you would in a modern estate. So far I have hit the rear arches 3 times off things! Once reversed into another car in my garage
All the damage was very slight and quickly repaired but it is just so infuriating!
I tried what Emilio suggested in my garage today but think I will need some practice in a wide open area!
any other ideas? Apart form just being more careful!!
I see you have got a copy of the !976 Motor, I still haven't had a chance to get into my attic as it means moving quite lot of furniture to get in
Glad you got it, but will check If it is one I have
Is there a complete list of all UK CT magazine features anywhere?

I have tried to keep my CT standard apart from Raymonds ignition box which is a very good improvement.

    Paul

You might need to just buy a couple of those big turntables for each of your cars in your garage.
