    Hey Stephane,

These are my new 17" Speedline Mistrals. As you well know, Compomotive makes a beautiful wheel that harkens back the days of the F40.

As for finding Mistrals, I waited almost as long as I've had Rachel (5 years) untill I finally got them.

For your Mondial (if I may), I like the Mistral & the Compomotive.

    Trickortreat!!!!!

Beautiful Hank, nice wheels, but since I've already owned 2 sets of those on previous Mondials, I wanted something I haven't had yet, hence my search, which may take a while, but I am willing to wait like you have ;)

    Cheers,

    Stephane

    BOO :)

I agree. I think the 17" Compomotive wheel would look stunning. It has that beautiful sharp edge to the star - so F40 looking !! Comp. wheels were my other choice and only the timing of "here's Speedline", kept me from going ahead with the Comp. search.

I'll stay on the lookout for you.

    Cheers, Hank

Hey Stephane why don't you contact FChatter Russ Turner. You can PM him off the Weberology thread. He has some interesting wheels on his Mondial IIRC.

Nice meeting you at T. Rutlands last week.

    Ciao,
    George

Hank got a set of **lowly** OEM Speedlines like me.
I think Stephane wants something different -- you know, like 20" spinners -- yo.
    (J/K) :) :)

Thanks George, but Russ also has the Mistrals, which I already have owned a few times, looking for something more unique. It was nice meeting you as well.

If you don't do the 20" spinners, I think you should really man up and adapt a set of center hub knock-off 288 GTO or F40 wheels
    :)

Thanks Michael. Can you just imagine her in ------------------Prugna !!:)

    I wouldn't do it, though :(

Now, we must be on the lookout for 17" Compomotives for Stephane.

    Cheers, Hank

Not sure what I'm missing, but why not just contact Compo and order a set? There was a gentlemen by the name of Alan Paxton that I spoke to (at the link below) a few years ago who was very helpful.

There was another thread a couple of weeks ago that started that they were no longer the USA distributor for Compomotive. You can however order direct from England but I beleive the cost is 2,000 pounds delivered...ouch!
