I recently received a Mauviel copper skillet as a gift. Man does it work nice! It's my new favourite thing, replacing the pizza stone. <sigh> Now I'm going to have to get more.

What's your favourite thing in the kitchen?

    I need knives.
I have the $9.99 set. They hack their way through things with dull serrations.

Favorite tool: An All-Clad wok. Great for cooking all kinds of vegetables and I make fried rice quite a bit.

    Favorite consumable: white truffle oil.

I love my hand made Japanese Chef's Knives. For my outside man kitchen, I just picked this up. I use it to chill drinks and store my meat for smoking. 79 years old and works perfect.

Hmm - favorite is probably the stand mixer. I used to mix my pizza dough by hand and now the stand mixer can do it with no effort in about 10 minutes.

after that . . . probably my favorite knife. Ceramic - and it has been just as sharp for 4 years now.

I love the naked lady bottle openers. When I was a kid, my dad got us some popsicle molds kinda like that. Me and my 11 year old buddies thought we were pretty cool licking titties popsicles made out of Hawaiian Punch!
