    Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good source for window switches. Mine have been repaired a couple of times, but one is now jamming and the other a little intermittent.

And also the suction cups for the sun visors.

    Thanks
    Scott

    Hi Scott

Some clues as to where the problem may lie can be found here

The switches in you car aren't that old (less than 3years now) and I picked them up online somewhere ? ebay. They worked fine when I put them in, so you might have a problem further up the chain, eg check fusebox, relays etc. Might be worth pulling the doortrim and checking the motor connections and lubricating the various pulleys and cables

Re the suction cups. This is from the Dennis Mcann website

20263208 SUN VISOR SUCTION CUP, DINO 246GTS $12.00

The part # is for a dino, but I believe they are the same for a 365bb

I must say I do miss the old girl, so if you ever get sick of tending to her needs I'd be interested in buying her back ;)

    Cheers

    Thanks Greg,

Actually the left switch has jammed solid, but otherwise windows are running fine.

The car is running very well, but I am about to put a set of new shafts (oversized) in the carbies, as we cannot fully settle the idle as they are sucking air around the worn carbi / shaft interface.

    Not for sale yet. Sorry.

(Rob, I am lost on your reply???)

No worries, I figured as much :D

Don't worry about Rob. Since his retirement he has been slowly dementing and thinks he still owns a BB
