is it the one at World Fine cars? I know the car very very very well as I knew the original owner and was trying to put a deal together with a member here and him however the buyer walked after learning it had never been serviced and sat for over a year with NOTHING being done, barely even being moved around the showroom(heated/indoor). World Fine cars has been around forever and have never heard anything bad about them so I highly doubt they would sell a car that hasn't at least had it's fluids changed and/or wouldn't do whatever you needed done to feel comfortable with the deal/car.
    I suggest speaking with Vasco(ClassicFerrari)

I checked the link but wasn't working for me so i'm only assuming it's the same car.

WFC hasn't done anything to the car. The service book is completely blank. I couldn't believe that the previous owner would not do fluids (at least). Has it been crashed? Front end has been repainted.

I guess I gotta walk too. The first rule I learned from this site was that service history is the most important thing about these cars. Too bad, I kinda liked it.

Hi Sparro, was that you today speaking to Tony? If so, it's a small world. I understand your concern about the service and the respray. I'm no expert but perhaps getting a PPI done would help? But in all honestly the car appears clean overall.

Like James said, Peter's been around a long time (1978). I've been working out of there since 2001. He's a fair guy. And on that note Tony is a stand up guy too.

    Again, just my .02

Yes, that was me. Certainly, a PPI will be in order. I kinda wanted to be happy with the history of the car first.

if I remember correctly all that was done was a oil-change and that was in 04-05! however as vasco said that a P.P.I would be best and pretty much ALL ferrari's have had their front bumpers painted at one point or another if its a car that actually gets driven so unless it's the entire front(fenders, hood etc.,) then I really wouldn't worry too much about it but a proper P.P.I would turn up any damage if there was some but from what I know there hasn't been any accidents.
The owner for whatever reason decided that not servicing it was a smart move and it ended up costing him at least 5 buyers including dealers that I know of and last I heard was eventually traded in for a Aston Martin.
But none the less its' a canadian car and in some peoples eyes more valuable because it is and might be to you as well, I would find out if the sellers have done anything service wise and just because a book hasn't been stamped doesn't mean nothings been done!!!

What in the world would make the owner think that NOT servicing a Ferrari is a smart move?

Nico, (As per our private message) have you asked Steve if he wants to be a sponsor here yet? I think it would be beneficial. Daytona has been getting a good rep here and Steve's a good guy. I am not a sponsor here that is why I never plug anything unless I am asked. And even then...

I don't wanna look like the biased bad guy here. :)

But seriously, I think our inhouse Canadian historian "of2worlds" should be able to chime in with more.

Mr V it would just be a guess but 25 Stradale models for 2004 seems realistic as the official Ferrari Canada total. However there have been a number of American market Stradales imported to. What ever happened to the dark gray (Grigio Titanium?) Stradale that went to Montreal from Florida?

I actively persued this car back in the summer, here is the scoop

    1. car sat for sale at Autobugatti for one year at $190,000 no takers
    2. its cats have been changed and the original cats are not with the car
    3. the rear bumper has been re-sprayed, and apparently not a good job
    4. The front drivers quarter has a blow in repair
    5. The car has had one oil change in six years
    6. The car needs a major service, belts, fluids etc etc

If anyone needs further info on this car please PM, the owner sent me some info.

I wouldn't pay more than $160,000 for this car.

One thing i would add to to my comments is......I do not think that Quebec cars are as nice as Ontario cars, in my search for Ferrari's I have never had a good experience with Quebec cars, just my observation.

not sure really, i've seen cdn stradales from $169,000 up to $245,000 recentley.
The 1800km's car wasn't really for sale BUT the owner would listen to offers I ended up getting a number out of him which was nothing less then $200,000 after 3 people and numberous offers one of the interested parties was willing to pay the $200,000 and by then the seller traded it in at F.O.O towards his new F458.
Super nice guy and awesome collection! he's a lurker here or at least i've never seen him post.

Thanks James! Is the black on black no stripe Stradale still around? FoO had it for sale about 3 years ago. The seats were done in the same material - pattern as the factory Enzo press car's seats. Only one I've see like that.

That is nice. I've seen it in Little Italy a few times. There is also a black on black no stripe Strad in Quebec. I have pictures of it at the track day at Mosport.

I've seen a few of his other cars... if he treats the CS anything like the others, it wouldn't be a car I'd want.

    Thanks for the details guys!
I wonder who FoO finally sold the silver Stradale to. Somebody said the stripe was put on later. FoO must have sat on that car for a year or more. The silver Stradale in Quebec still hasn't sold.
