HOW BAD IS LIME WIRE..invasive?

I've heard some pretty nasty stories about limewire back when it was popular, led me never to touch it. Not sure how it is now.

 

I wouldn't touch limewire, too much spyware on there.

 

+1 Lots of trojan application files as well... and nevermind the RIAA monitors it
CONSTANTLY to make sure that Hollaback Girl isn't being shared illegally. I quit
using it several years ago.

 

I've used Limewire for a few years... download songs from there daily.

I don't have any anti-virus software... I just watch I download, no viruses, no spyware, I've never had any problems.

 

Yes, Limewire is loaded with spyware... you get what you pay for.

If you don't want the viruses on your computer, just buck up and pay your .99 cents per song.
