many of you know that the 996 was the first 911 that had all new bodywork, suspension and drive train. most significantly, it was also the first water cooled 911. visually, the "teardrop" or "fried egg" headlamps marked it out as different - the fact that the 997's have reverted to round headlamps may mean we don't see them again for a long time, if ever. what you may not be aware of is that a hong kong designer (pinky lai) was principally responsible for the 996. amazing, huh? maybe one day a singaporean will be responsible for designing an f-car or l-car. we can hope right? i need to stop cluttering my brain with useless factoids...
yeah but at 400k for the car registered you can cut a hole in the roof.... a lot cheaper than the 950k for the 458!!! and probably more reliable.... hehehe
