    Kareem has found a huge parking lot at a mostly Vacant Shopping Center anchored by a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. It is larger then the lot at VCR and the lack of tennants serves all of us as there are very few customers to compete with. Coffee only no breakfast place at this time.

    The Address is 19724 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana,Ca.

    From the 101 heading east, exit at Winnetka, Rt to Ventura Blvd, Left on Ventura to site.

    From the 101 heading West Exit Tampa, Left to Ventura, Rt on Ventura Blvd. to Site.
    Come out and join us and help carry on the Sunday morning tradition that VCR had become.

    9 of us were out there this morning and had the place virtually to ourselves.

    Good seeing the new location and the guys that showed up today. The crowds were a little hard to handle, but apart from that I like the new location.

    Okay, lets just make sure that this is an every Sunday event with no special days like the last Sunday of the month. As long as we keep it reasonably sized, there should be no problems.

    There is a final meeting next week for a new and really great location. It's convenient and the management company wants us there. This new location would start the Sunday after the December 6th Motor4toys event. Hopefully this can be announced at the end of next week. The only reason the place is not being disclosed is so that the contracts can be signed. :)

    Contract - ? Didn't everyone blame the move from VCR to this top secret location on the lawyers to begin with...? Maybe that's sarcasm b/c I can't imagine who the contract would apply to (will we be in breach if we fail to show up and eat two donuts a piece...)

    So it seems as if there are 3 "new" locations now...Northridge, Tarzana, and the new undisclosed location.

    To paraphrase G. W. Bush, I sense in the near future that all three locations will "unificate." Until then, should I choose door #1, 2 or 3? :D

    The best location for a gathering is what is important to all of us, for the time being I suggest everyone meet at 19724 Ventura Blvd Tarzana, then we will see what Jon has come up with.
    I am a sports car fan, drive a Ferrari usually and enjoy looking all types of cars, realisticly we cannot keep anyone out if they are driving a Hot Rod,or a Classic Car, we can ask Car Clubs with multiple cars to park in a certain area if we have a degree of control over an area, which a "Contract" may enable.

    This is not a rave or Secret one time get together. Everyone should tell their friends etc about a new gathering, thats one part of it becoming a success.

    I don't know where you heard that some types of cars would be "kept out"? The new location would be for EVERYONE. EVERYONE that attends these different shows are sports, muscle, vintage, exotic, etc. car fans. The "Contract" would be to guarantee we get "x" amount of spots for "x" amount of time. We didn't want to be asked to leave after 3 months. People are certainly free to attend any show they want. The person that's putting this together is just offering a great option.

    I hope this isn't becoming a personal thing. The whole point ( I thought) was to have a get together somewhere with no drama, something warm to drink and somewhere to take a leak?

    Not personal to me. I'm just passing on info and have no horse in this race. Those are definitely all important factors. I think people will naturally gravitate towards whichever show has the best turnout/facilities/location. I personally like the one that's being worked on for many reasons but I'm happy to go where the show ends up. :)
