We've had a request by a non-F-car driver to join the run on the 14th. I asked that they submit a photo for board approval. What do you think, guys, it's pretty discrete, no?

As long as it leads. I think most of us can drive underneath it.

Had my car at custom mobile yesterday. Marty showed me a picture of that car and said he could "hook me up". However, I just decided to go with the radar hardwire. The lambo doors and Pimpstar rims would only slow me down though.

Performance tractor wheels. The handling really is unimaginable.

Hell yah! Are those stock wheels?

What about those 4 horns up front that would look stylish in front of the 355.

Don't think he would bottom out. I love this thread within a thread!

let's get this thread back on Track.

I'm sure there there is someone else here in the group involved in armaments that can chime in.

I'm leaning in this direction as far as getting Joe into a decent daily driver... What do you think Josh?

Also, spotted Scud parked at Rowland Cinema yesterday. Very ballsy parking that in such close proximity to door dings.

    Or a SCUDeria missle!

Josh, you really opened up a can of worms in jousting with Greg like that. He can play this game All Day.

Greg, you should join us on the drive and breakfast on the 14th. We need more blue in the sea of red.

I can't speak for Joe, but since you asked me, I don't think that would be enough for him. I am always surprised when I see exotics parked proximate to heavy parking lot movement areas. If the purpotrator doesn't notice any damage, it never happened, right?

Wish I could show some pictures, but it's been more than once that I saw exotic cars in Tokyo (including a F50) parallel parked in small dark narrow alley late night, almost bumper to bumper. Those roads are so narrow that you can barely accommodate two way traffic.

This makes parallel parking in downtown Pleasanton today seem like tying your shoes. If I was parallel parking an F50, I'd always have a passenger so he could get out and direct me during the parking maneuver. Short but good drive today, bro. The Modena is always a beautiful view from the cockpit.

Albert, thanks for taking me through those roads. The drive was good, and we can keep exploring new places so we can invite the Marine group over one of these days. :) Your 355 sounds so good, can't even hear my tubi, lol.

My one complaint about the Scuderia is that when you are reversing, the car beeps even though it is not equipped with parking sensors. A bit misleading and dangerous.

    Tom,
If that annoys you too much, I'd trade with you any day of the week and whenever we take the cars out I'll parallel park both cars. Ha ha.

Give it more gas. The engine noise will drown it out.

You realize this group is not going to let this one die.

The car beeps when reversing. You can't see through the tiny plastic back window that is all wavy from the excessive heat. Your tires blow out when you drive faster than 150 mph. I really feel for you Scud pilots. I'd be bitter, too if I had to deal with such tragic inconveniences.

    Gents,

We've got a great breakfast coming up Saturday, and it looks like the weather is going to hold in our favor -- just a couple of details. Per person cost (will be same as last run) has been negotiated based upon our having a single check/transaction, so please bring cash so we can honor that agreement. As always, feel free to bring a copilot, but just be sure to confirm on the list here before Thursday.

For those of you thinking of dropping in and seeing what this group is about, feel free to join us, but likewise, be sure that we know you're coming in advance so we can assure a place for you at the table.

The place we are meeting has a few ATMs, including BOA. It would be a good place to replenish if you spent all of your cash on Friday night. :)
