    Ed,

Who had 0677 back then? I knew the car later when Bodin had it.

Nice shot of Luke's Daytona. Didn't he get an award at Virginia City one year for having most consistent times? The deal was that the close time was done with the car going through the finish line backwards. Was it the Big Wheel or the Dubious Achievement award?

You are correct Aardy, Magnone was the last owner of 0758 in the country, I have all the info from first to last owner of this car in Venezuela, Barcchetta is missing some and has first and second owner mixed.

When I first started the investigation I though so to, but after investigation and colecting newpapers, magazines, pictures and speaking with people that lived the era etc I can assure it was Marcotulli the first owner, he raced it in 58 and 59, Galia only in 1960, besides the car today is painted with Marcotullis name and venezuelan plates resembling how it first raced, the only difference I see it is missing the venezuelan flag, I contacted the people in Switzerland and their letter is published in my forum.
Raab?? dont know what it is.

    Thanks Branko.

Hillary Raab is an US guy who collected Ferrari infos and had his entries at Maranello many years ago. He wrote two books about serial numbers (odd and even s/n) with all first owners known...

As I said, only the first owner is given (see the pic below).
There are two s/n books : the red one for odd s/n and the green one for the even s/n and both are must have !!

I am just an amateur trying to put together part of our racing history, all the documents of venezuelan racing where lost in a flood, I better ask the experts.
Just wondering why some of those mistakes I recently read a book about racing in Venezuela and found many mistakes of people places and you name it, one of two things, not enough investigation or the language barrier.

You are welcome, I really enjoy sharing what I have found in old albums, drawers and shoe boxes that I have been hunting all over and thanks to the people that allowed me to scan their treasures.
The one that took me more to find was the info on the 250MM 0352, and that one was special to me, I saw it for the first time in 55 and the second time was when Max Ciarlet installed the chevrolet engine and at the time I didnt know it was the same car.

It is always interesting to see that 0742TR is quoted for Monteverdi. There is no way he thought he was getting a new car (the car definitely showed evidence having been used hard and Monteverdi was no fool), so maybe they just deleted Askolin's name when the sale was handled through the factory...?
