Agree mate, really enjoyed myself in spite of my errrr lap time. As you say I am a puzzy but hell I am a puzzy that likes to play!!!! ;P

Also mate, as mentioned in our conversation last night... once your arm is better.... the Maximus Track days are truly great, with some degree of mechanical support which is darn important! And max at 20 cars... and 4 hour session.... I will sign up for every one of their track days. Nice mix of cars. Cars yesterday were- Golf GTI, four Skyline GTRs (I overtook one and he wasnt on a cool down lap- oh yeah hahaha- at least I wasnt the absolute slowest), a few Civic Type Rs (one driven by the lady that did 2.37!!), one 430 spider, one GT3, Audi RS4 amd A4, Carrera S, 3 997TTs (one cab), a Subaru Airtrek (oh yeah... I overtook him too... yeeha) etc...

Wow, very good timing on your losses er, purchases rather.

    Welcome to Fchat.

Lp640s are already starting to be offloaded pretty young now when the SVs get delivered but the G owners swing up the chain to soften it. Leang, there u have it, from another player. I was just reading up on the Superleggera this morning from an old magazine but this car has already been forgotten. Me thinks the manufacturers have outdone themselves like many other industries.....

U boys have obviously not ticked the right boxes ;) or not seen the fully loaded ones.

There is a carbon fibre interior option which sets you back ahem S$50k....

Then you can have a at least 3 kinds of leather to choose from. U like the diamond cross stitch from the V12s? Coloured stitches? Tick please :)

There is also the "branding" package which adds logos & badges in the cabin to remind you that U are in a Lamborghini :D

Few different style of wheels that adds another 5 figures

    Glass engine cover? 5 figured

Ceramic brakes? Higher side of 5 figures

Factory fitted Reverse camera? 5 figure

    Lifter? 5 figure

There is also a multi-way electric seat which makes u feel like driving an SUV. (mine had) but the bloody Murcie has no electric seats or even a glove compartment! Not to mention cupholders :D for an over million dollar car. arrgh

Well, for all the boxes that u ticked. Your Gallardo will be very close to a million dollar, options are taxed 100+%

That's why some options are local fitted these days.

Like what Tiong said. Insurance is the 1st hurdle cos if we can't clear that, no amount of money can buy you that ride. Of course if you don't mind 5 figured premiums that are annual write-offs & they are only going to get higher. Thanks to the industry players that rake up quarter-half a billion of business & we're paying for it!

Anyway, as far as I know. Both are pretty reliable but do set aside S$5-8K per annum on maintenance. My L-cars seem to be quite "cheap" as servicing is half annual that costs less than $2k each & new cars have 3yrs warranty. Clutch jobs can be $7K+ though & don't forget the 19" tyres.

Hope to see more posts from u.

Get a used and well depreciated LP like mine..it wont be that bad. New model will probably be out mid 2011 and available by Oct 2011, but the price tag I reckon will be around 1.4~1.5mil.

If 560 spyder better get the lp. but i will sell this "new" car by 2011, and if i buy an LP, all the current LP customers will be off loading to buy replacement model. Use car market at this price not so bad market

Aren't Gs on 19"? or is it 18"

Rite on mate. I'm quite attracted to the 560 spyder too for a daily & even Malaysia runs but the $ diff is huge!

    Hmmm. 599 or 560?

I have an itch on the 599 since I've not had a front engine V12 but the cabin spec & colour has to be right. Me loves the Daytona CF seats! U didn't like the 575 so best to test drive a 599 and a used 560 or Gallardo since price is quite seductive! U've already have the 430, me thinks a spread is nice.
