So.. Winter's coming and the cars are going into hibernation.. What do you do to pass time?
Fire up the kerosene heater and work on the Ferrari, anything but the fuel system with the heater running. This winter, I plan on looking at the front bearings and repacking them in grease. Started on one earlier this year at our tech. session, now to just complete the job.
Can you please seperate truth from fiction and give an update on the Pirello/Abbas dealership fallout? Thanks.
Drive the car whenever the streets' conditions permit so it stays somewhat lubricated. Apart from that play a lot of racing games and build another 1/12 scale Ferrari for the next model show at Continental.
One of the benefits of driving a 350Z is that when winter comes I just put on snow tires and i'm good to go. It's only a Nissan and it can get a little salty.
I was just thinking of you as I raced a Porsche CGT around Spa in "Need for Speed - Shift". If your car handles like the one in the game, then you got yourself one of the nicest handling supercars there is. So fast, yet so controllable, beautiful. Come over to my house if you are showing severe withdrawal symptoms. I'm just 10 minutes up the road from you.
Funny, I was just thinking of him too, as I raced an identical (down to his license plate ) version of his car in "Forza 3." (a.k.a. the best game ever ) I'll post pictures later.
