Not a deal. Lots better out there now. I paid 10k for GTB driver.

 

Was that the 308 that Tony at Modena restored and only to be totaled soon after the owner picked up the car?

 

Ill take 5 of them......if you can find them. The interior of this car is completely new at a cost of 10K. All leather including the dash and door to door carpeting.

 

The body and paint was sourced out to a reputable body shop. The interior was also sourced out. The engine was done by Tony only to have to be completely redone by Daytona and then it was writen off by an idiot running a red.

 

Yes it is and apparently he paid $40K to rebuild a 308 engine at daytona. Sounds like a deal to me!

I thought it was relevant in that the car doesnt come with an engine and there are 40,000 reasons.

 

I think everyone knows that whats left of the car comes without an engine. The ad says that. For anyone looking for a front end for their wrecked 308 and a completely new interior, this is a good deal.

 

It certainly is... this is a perfect car for that. The rear end has to be stretched anyway and there are probably a fair amount of used Ferrari motors/trans out there to choose from.

 

I had called last week about the car for possibility of just getting the new 16" wheels purchased from Ferrari. Right there is $2500-$3500 of the price if they are still on the body. Not sure of their value these days.

 

That must be some motor rebuild.

That looks extraordinarily clean. Beautiful motor. It's nice to be able to see something that pretty while it's out.

 

Interesting its up for $15K when a reliable source told me the cost was $40K just to do the engine. hmmmmm......

 

I can use the entire black interior...and the guages, including the clock.

Daytona listed the engine which is perfect. Out of one side of your mouth you say the engine costs too much to rebuild at 40k and now you think its selling too cheap. I dont get it. Relax...if you think its such a good deal, and you did mention you would take 5 of them at this price...put your money where you mouth is and buy it then.

PS...the rims are all USELESS ON THIS CAR....they are all smacked///and im sure twisted.

 

You really dont have a clue do you? Have you even seen the car since the accident? Try reading the posts a little better before clicking away. I said I would take 5 drivers for 10k each.
