    judging by how the 1st gen Cayenne looks, i think they did stand back and thought it was ok for production.

    the 2nd gen Cayenne did look good :)

    i don't think it looked particularly better ... all that happened is that we got used to its looks ...

    remember when the e60 m5 came out? the rear looked like crap ... especially the lights ... but we got used to it. heck, now we even like it ...

    err i still don't like E60. i have always liked the E39 :)
    like you say, we get used to it but we don't fully like it. its not exactly a thing of beauty.

    it wasn't hard to look better than something hit with the ugly stick!

    funny I never disliked it but always prefered the E39

    ahh .. but ... how is the 456GT going? I'd love to hear some feedback Jon

    I don't think its to keep the revs up... we brake into and during the turn to plant the nose for a better turn in... and also to not shift the balance of the car i.e. keep the weight in front.
