Sorry mate, I was a bit tired when I posted that. Its clearly a Spider! These night shifts are killing me lately. I just dont want to do them and I normally LOVE night shifts.
I know that feeling, sort of anyway, normally LOVE my job but the last 2 weeks have been a struggle.....back into it tomorrow for 4 days then a week away will do the world of good! Your month off should relieve some stress too brother!!
Here are a few photos of my very special 1998 355 F1 GTS. This US spec car is 1 of 6 the Ferrari dealer in Dubai, UAE custom ordered from the factory. It was bought by Ferrari of Denver in March 2000. The Custom items are: The leather is darker than the standard Tan, but lighter than Cuoio. Black piping on the seats and black stitching on the instrument and radio surrounds. Matching brown dashboard, door wraparound, and airbag. The standard 355 has black leather in these places. Black carpeting rather than brown, including the door panels. Full Roll bar, also covered in matching leather. Alcantara upper surfaces on sun visors. Extra Alpine speakers behind the seats. It also has the less common matte finish targa top, which I prefer to the body color painted top - if you have it (a GTS), flaunt it. The GTS with the F1 transmission is the rarest body style/transmission combination, with only 529 of the 11,265 355s being so configured.. I've changed out the amber trun signals to the European clear ones - a big improvement on a black Ferrari. Stan- I guess it entered the US market via FOD, but wasn't your car sold by FOW? I remember seeing it in the showroom about a year ago? BTW, I have a personal picture of me standing next to your car at the Spring Thaw. James
James, You're right about seeing the car at FOW. My understanding is that Ferrari North America held an auction of several overseas US spec cars, and that FOW bid but lost to FOD. But FOD couldn't sell it, so they offered it to FOW. That'a how it got here. It had 2 or 3 local owners before I bought it in Oct. 2007.
Some that I liked hope you like, daily web search pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
