It was a really low pass that DIDN'T feature Alain de Ca.!

Unfortunately the file size of 1.22 MB greatly exceeded the FChat wmv file size ceiling of 488 KB.
I would be happy to email the file to someone if it can be resized or converted into another format.

I'm from an increasingly obsolete analog generation. Seen YouTube but never uploaded anything. I'll have my stepson try it later.

    I hear ya :D

Honestly, it's similar to posting or uploading here. If you can do that, Youtube will be just as easy. If you're feeling adventurous, I found a quick demo for you in case you decide you want to learn how.

Nice, I can see why the 'cubicle people' didn't like it.

Here is a still from the other side at the end of the pass. This thing is longer than a 747 and only four feet shorter at the fin. Engines push (up to) 110,000 lbs each.

I spent almost 4 years working in Preliminary Design on that airplane from the very start and I feel a huge sense of pride that it has become Boeing's finest. Every effort was spent in getting everything RIGHT and many long days were laced with meetings between designers, factory reps, customer reps, and company brass. Then the best hands in the manufacturing world put it together IN HOUSE and produced a masterpiece. All done on the CATIA computer. I always felt proud of working on the 747 but it was because I survived the man killing pace and pressure more than producing a great airplane. The 777 was done the way it is supposed to be done and I'm afraid that it is the last time that we'll see that type of objective excellence in a program.
