I understand your position. I am sure in Europe, the Jarama brings more money. I am surprised how much the two cars sold for in Europe. A member with the last name beginning with the letter E, mentioned on the VLG, how he sold his car in the U.S., a few years ago, for 17K USD, which included 60K USD in service work.

I do not believe the glass roof panels, will bring much in the way of a financial upcharge, with any buyer, aside from a true Jarama specialist.

If you purchased this car for $500.00, you would still be financially upside down, if you turned around, and sold the restored Jarama in the U.S.

    ain't that the truth.

A sale or two (including both top and bottom prices), does not establish true market price.

Do you all remember the very nice rosso/negro Islero, that sold on the Bay during 2007, for $39,900 ?

Not me, Roy. I just don't think they are worth that much. But your car is a top dollar car. I kinda want a driver or project. I think Forza here in CT had a silver/red for mid 30's in excellent condition. I think Carreaper/Joe Frazar was friends with original seller.

But here we all should look at values, Roy's car is not selling right now in the 50's. But I bet it will sell at auction to someone NOT in the US.

I'm still waiting for the new photos of the car. The ones on your site still look like "stock" photos.

I am somewhat surprised that you'd go back to "Rob & Steal" with all their shenanigans.

Last year, Andrew R. asked me for the market newsletter about Jarama, he published it in a magazine in USA.

Still last year I was involved in 4 Jarama sales, none of them were top cars like the 2 sold in Europe this year that I wrote about. No other Jarama to my knowledge was sold in Europe this year. So, it's a market reflect & trend leading to conclude that a nice car goes for top price and a common one with extra work stays in advertised...as 3 advertised Jarama in Europe are still for sale after 2 years !!! Nobody wants them...and I still have 2 buyers actually looking for good cars with specific colors.

Unfortunately Roy they don't like red...

Well today I went and picked up my GTS after having the Mech at Lamborghini Bellevue and Steve at www.drivenexotics.com go through it from tip-top to bottom and make it just right...YEA and stupid me...they had a blank check LOL LOL

But after driving it today for a good 75 miles or so...OMG what a pleasure. Smooth flowing power from the V-12 carbs and a great sound!! Pulled great in all gears and to my AMAZMENT drove straight as an arrow and no shake or shimmy or rattle all the way up to 125 MPH!! I was truly blown away by this car for its age and its performance.

I can ONLY imagne how cool this car was when it came out...must have been one of the TOP DOGS for its time. Oh and YES I raised the price...I think it is worth EVERY FRIKN penny...and if not, hell I am keeping it...

I really LIKE the warning lable, to raise the windows funny as hell....anyone know if that was a factory deal or ad-on..?

44 new pics added to the site today with more info as well...

The way it's placed it looks like they also want you to fasten your seat belts under such circustances ...

There was a similar sign on the glass roofed Espada albeit at a much lower speed (100mph?) which I presumed meant that the plexiglass would probably pop out as it was not all that strongly secured.

I'm thinking to have my #10528 resprayed... but I don't like too much original "Luci di Bosco".
I'm tired to see most Jarama in silver, like mine actually, something more exclusive should suit it...but no red, yellow, black, orange, frog green...

For instane, I'm found of this color used on Islero #6558...

any suggestion with good picture to show paintcode is welcome ?

I don't know the paint code either, and I would be interested in it...

I once heard that it is a "Verde Scuro" and that it is an original Lamborghini paint code, but I have nothing more.

    Olivier,
    i like this idea!

silver does not look the best on jaramas imo
luci del bosco should be not bad and personally i LOVE the black ones!
but this color or a darck blue would be perfect imo

is the color of Islero #6558 similar to the one of Miura #5066 ?

=> verde scuro is illustrated in Joe' book with extensive pics of #5106...it seems to bright in the book for my taste, but pic of #5066 looks better... are we speaking about the same paint code ?

what about "ice blue metallic" ???
