I'm comfortable with the all of the Top 4 being in the current Top 4, though I doubt that the current sequence/rankings inside that Top 4 is accurate.

Well, I do believe TCU can beat Stanford.............And you honestly think USC can???? Most points ever scored against USC in the history of the school. Wow, how did Stanford do that? How much better are they this year than last??? TCU beat them in Fort Worth last year by over 30.....Do not play them this year. We added Clemson and Virginia instead.

And to say TCU does not play anyone..........Clemson is set to win their conference, SMU is leading theirs and Utah, BYU are still in the top 25. Won all those games:
    Clemson 14 - 10
    SMU 39 - 14
    BYU 38 - 7
    Utah 55 - 28
    Total TCU 146 Opponents 59

TCU has scored 55 points in both the last two games..........
Of the 6 computer rankings, three of them pick Texas behind TCU.

How is this going to play out.......

It's only fair to put TCU ahead of Texas. I would if I were voting.
Sure gets fun with all these undefeateds...

You know, you are probably right. Maybe I should adjust my guess down a little...............Florida 27, Alabama 17....

And I also missed my guess on the TCU, Utah game. I picked it TCU 38, Utah 14. I missed it because Utah scored 28 points. But then I guess the spread got beat because TCU put up 55 points for a 27 point win or beating the line by 7.

BCS beater. I believe so.........I am looking at the Fiesta Bowl. Rose and Orange selection committee was at the game yesterday. President and CEO of Fiesta were in attendance also. The President of the Fiesta Bowl said after the game that this team should fear no one.

But, one game at a time. Wyoming would love nothing better than knocking off the Frogs next week. What a coup that would be........Focus, focus, focus.....Go Frogs.....

I expect Bama to score 3 field goals and up to 2 TDs (1 offensive, 1 from defense or kick return) against Florida, for up to 23 points. I expect Florida to score 3 times against Bama (probably 3 TDs for 21 points...or...2 TDs and 1 field goal for 17 points).

OR put another way, Bama wins if special teams or Defense scores for them one time. Or game goes into overtime if Bama scores its 1 offensive TD plus 2 point conversion late in the 4th.

Bama also wins in overtime due to conditioning and size.

A few links that seem to help point out the futility for a good football program to get proper recognition if is it is not an automatic BCS team.

The first from a writer for the Austin American Statesman, home of the Longhorns.

Oh, some are TCU advertising videos also and a tape from a classroom talking about a couple of oldtime football legends from the school......

I just relooked at some stats from the Frogs. Since midseason, or the last five games, TCU has outscored their opponents 233 to 53. And the percentages have actually been divided about 55% to 45% rushing/passing........Pretty balanced I would say...........Also allowing their opponents about 75 rushing yards per game and approximately 135 yards passing. While TCU is racking up 400 yards average per game combined in the first two games of this 5 and over 500 average per game yards total in the last three.

TCU is probably better than Texas this year, and given a break or two could even beat Bama or Florida for the National Championship. I'd rank the horned frogs at a close 3rd right now.

I went to every home game last year and have been to four home games this years at TCU including the sellout last Saturday against Utah. My take on them:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jveN4GyEeA

Andy Dalton, the QB, is maturing more and more each game. He is a junior and just needs another 450 passing this year to break the school record. But the amazing thing is, is that they rush for more yards than they pass. He is cool under pressure and can run when he needs to. Scored two rushing touchdowns himself a couple of weeks ago.

Jerry Hughes, Number 98, is a consensus All-American Defensive End and proves it over and over again each week. He ranks very high in the nation in tackles, tackles for losses and QB sacks. He will spin around the offensive line and get the QB from behind........

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fqGF15qk3M

Jeremy Kerley, Number 85, has two punts returned for touchdowns this year and is very dangerous when he gets the ball if he does not have to call a fair catch. Always waits until the last second before deciding if he is going to attempt to run it back or not.

The Frogs have surprised me in their ability to withstand pressure and maintain their poise. Remember, this is a small college with a student enrollment of approximately 8,800 students. It does not have the huge recruiting budget that many of the megacolleges have the luxury of. They find players who other colleges seem to miss and make the most of them.

They have Gary Patterson for a coach. Patterson is pretty reserved when asked about their chances. Last week after the game he was asked about their chances with Florida, Alabama and Texas. His response was "We are all somewhat alike, undefeated at this time">

I could be wrong but I fully expect to see them take Wyoming 52-14 and then New Mexico 57-7. I know those scores sound too high but with the balanced offense that the Frogs are playing with now and the defense holding opponents to under 70 yards rushing per game I believe it possible.

The only weakness I have seen all year is too many fumbles, too many penalties early in the season and a seeming weakness in the middle secondary that a good passer can take advantage of. But then they have to overcome the TCU secondary speed. Patterson took a bunch of high school wide receivers and running backs and converted them to corners and safeties. They have very good speed at the corners and they know pass routes and receiver tendencies very well because of their experience of having played the position.

Watch Jeremy Kerley, he is a very explosive runner......................He is a sophomore recruited from a small 3A high school in Texas

Now these are just my opinions and you guys are all allowed to have yours too. I do not believe, even with a blowout last two games that TCU will be allowed to play in the NCG. That honor is just not offered to non-BCS schools. Even if they could blow Ohio right out, they will not get a bowl offer that good either. I look for the Fiesta Bowl against someone like OSU. Maybe not OSU but someone comparable.....
