0758 TR is correct. The remains of "99" were a custom built body on the chassis for a short period. What is interesting, the pictures of this body on 0758 that I have all show it painted red with the " 99". Any info on when and by whome it was painted blue.I can only assume the blue came after the red. just one man's opinion tongascrew

Hi Tongascrew the car was still red on top and blue on the sides only when it was on the pile.

... but likely to have been 0093S in Branko's "Caracas" and "Valera" photos.

Thanks a lot, that confirms the serial number in a copy of the sale documents I found, the only thing that doesnt match is the year of the car, but that sure is a mistake someone made in its early life.

This Italian license plate from Florence was only issued in August 1953. Not before.

It is mentioned in several articles that this one was the first Ferrari in venezuelan land and acording to Barchetta it was delivered in 1950 and the document I found says car is year 1954.

I said that this particular Italian license plate of Florence "FI 65258" was issued in August 1953. Of course this car was built years before. 0093 S was actually completed 30th November 1950 and then delivered to A.I.C.A.R. in Milan, Italy. A.I.C.A.R. is Agenzia Internazionale Commercio Auto Ricambi which later became WI.PU.CO. Srl.. Panchetti in Caracas got 0093 S in 1954.
