The testarossa was a boyhood dream of mine, it pretty much started my obsession with ferraris and supercars. Much to my amazement i get to drive a perfect almost no miles example and have Chang take some awesome pics with my 599 recently. Of course, my dream came true some 20 years later and even better this was a 512 TR with all the updates i loved and want, but with no power steering and awkward driving position, the dated interior is a VERY far cry from my own ferraris. Nevertheless, my boyhood dream was realized and yes i can say im really happy and by looking at the pictures, it makes me realize that ferrari really designed some great looking cars back in the day! Its amazing in pictures it looks much much better, just like i remembered from my bedroom wall 20+ years ago. As to now, the new horses have to be appreciated in person better than pictures. Funny. Another dream come true, i so appreciate my fortunateness, i better saver my emotions before making an offer! DOOH!! The 512 TR is a beautiful "classic" Ferrari 12 cyl. Of course, I'm bias , but in traditional Ferrari yellow it looks absolutely fantastic--and the "small details" throughout are wonderful, too. I've never really noticed them when looking at one of these cars in person. Great pics! Thanks.
Great photos! Back in the early 90's I had a 1991 Testarossa for 3 or 4 years. Loved the car even though it was a huge hassle. As I'm sure you know, the automatic seatbelts are always giving trouble. They get really annoying. The 1991's still had the fiberglass front spoiler which would drag on even the safest looking entrances & driveways. The 512 was a little better, but be aware that you literally have to plan how you will get around town. If you can deal with those issues and don't mind using a little elbow grease in parking lots, you will have a blast! I don't think I've ever had a car that others got so much enjoyment out of. Everywhere you go people have memories & stories. They put smiles on a lot of faces, and yellow is such a lovely color on 512TR's. Glad to see another 599 owner appreciating a car that too many Ferrari guys now disregard. -sbf
