Mate, that was a pic of the car many years ago. When I sold it, you are right that I had a set of intakes without strakes. But the rest of the car was exactly as is. Understand that the subsequent owner put a rear wing on it, "carbon fibre" look roof and some sort of badging etc....

Bro Lung, reprogramming the E throttle will not help much with turbo lag. Problem is in the design of the turbos and their size unfortunately.... You may need to consider changing the turbos out for turbos designed to maximise torque far earlier than your current set up. Good idea would be to get on 6speedonline for some solutions...

Think you may be getting confused with a TR that was converted to look like the later generation 512M....

hi.im new to this forum . i believe yre referring to my car. to clarify, its not a 355 conversion but a 512m conversion. front spoiler is almost identical to 355 (the pop up lights were not converted) n rear has the traditional 4 round lights ala 355. what i hv done is to remove the side strakes leaving two humongous side air vents (which incidentally help a lot with cooling.) overall it looks like an xl version of a 355. now if i cld only get it to handle like one....... lung if youre reading this i need anor koenig sway bar !

I've got the perfect solution for you.

Get the GT2 for yourself and a California for the Mrs..This way you still get to keep a horse in the family and you can finally like the dream :)
