Oh gosh. I've always adored these polished metal dashes from yesteryears too.

Adrian they look a little under-exposed on my screen but guess the overcast sky didn't help huh? I'm surprised that they took it out on the road for you :) How does it sound?

so far the cheapest ive found is kinetix which has 180 cell count but i hvnt found anyone who has tried it .r u thinking of doing ecu remap? im thinking of doing mine again maybe we hv more bargaining clout as a pkg deal .i agree stock cs exhaust sounds great with valves open but closed, a bit weak . my tubi ngt prob sounds a bit better at lows but a bit too deep n meaty almost droney n the highs not shrill enuff. hope the cats help improve sound in this dept.

Why will remapping the ecu change the exhaust note? And will it sound better or worse after it changes?

Few years back my small BMW got caught in a flood. Water up to the car seat level and gotten into the engine. Insurance company covered new engine flown in from Germany.

Was near the sea and really thought car might floated out to the sea.

The insurance company hit me with high premium for the next few years.

Still get nightmare when it rains heavily and that's why am driving a Cayenne

It was explained to me that after remap.. more fuel burns on full load... so the entire combustion process changes.
The exhaust note went lower on my car... I didn't like it.
Remapping the ECU may or may not eliminate the backfires... its the amount of back pressure in the exhaust that creates the backfire.
