I like this one beter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKtw7x42nKg&feature=related And what happens when a USC loss is announced in Death Valley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4OpVFtoqRA&feature=related
Wow, there is likely to be some smack talking from the Ole Miss folks arriving in this thread shortly... MB
I doubt it. It will most likely be attacks at Alabama from folks misdirecting their anger from their own situation
You know, it might have been interesting to see what would have happened if Bobby had gone to Tuscaloosa. Dale
What did ya'll promise Les to throw that game, oh wait he IS that big of a dumbass. It didn't cost ya'll anything.
...found Frank...he's at the movies seeing "Blindside" for the 3rd time just for the "Nick Saban as LSU coach" flashback... Frank, Les is more...as in losses but I know I'm preaching to the choir. Maybe the puddycats will hire Charlie Weis.
To dawg fans, my condolences: http://www.uga.edu/news/artman/publish/091119_UgaVII.shtml Image Unavailable, Please Login
After LSU's 3rd down play when they were tackled for a loss, there were 17 seconds left on the lock. They didn't call a timeout until there were 9 seconds. That was really what caused the entire problem IMO. I can kind of understand not having enough time to get your FG team out with 1 second, considering the clock starts before you end up snapping the ball. Maybe. Even if they were all ready and waiting. But spiking the ball? Really? Run a damn play, of SOME sort. But hell, they shouldn't have even had the ball. Anyone else see Mccluster watch the ball go right past him into Lafell's hands? Perfectly executed kick, but Mccluster could have easily grabbed it and fallen on it. Instead he purposefully avoided the ball and watched it.
Yep. Not sure what he was doing, perhaps he had a "Les moment". Maybe he was thinking of the 10 yard rule or thought it was going out of bounds? Glad the Rebs won; otherwise it would have been a tough way for a great player to lose his last game in Oxford. On to the Egg Bowl...
Hmm- not very impressive game by LSU again. Razorbacks are right around the corner. I would not dismiss AR. They are a better team then their record shows. Chick-Fil bowl again??
A bad loss to the Hogs, an Ole Miss win in the Egg Bowl, and an Auburn win in the Iron Bowl...the Tigers go bowling in Shreveport.
I was watching the Texas/Kansas game and they had the ESPN BCS guru on attempting to explain the selection process and how fair it actually is. He was saying it he would not be surprised to be seeing Texas and OSU in the Fiesta Bowl. He was asked about TCU and said that if they continue to take care of business and finish out the season undefeated that they might be considered for a decent bowl but do not be surprised if the voters pick Cincinatti or Boise State above them. A two loss team, OSU lost to HOuston and TExas and barely made it past Texas Tech and Colorado. To be picked over an undefeated top 4 team?? There is no equality......He actually said that the BCS, having been created by the "BIG" conferences for the huge amount of money brought in by the bowls, would have no desire to change how they operate things. I can see that BCS is money driven, as most things usually are. It certainly does not represent the true National Championship team. Not saying that TCU should be up for that honor but to be said that someone like them who has put up the record that they have and not really be considered for a major bowl is ludicrous....... At least 11 wins in each of the last four seasons, defeating three top 25 schools this year and defeating five teams who are going to bowls themselves. Being in the top 8 in passing, rushing, defense, QB efficiency, punt returns etc.............."But you are not good enough and we just may vote two other teams who rank lower than you past you at the end of the season for bowl consideration". Bitter??? No.....but very disappointed by the very arrogant attitude the BCS has. He actually said also that the large majority of people are very satisfied with the current way BCS is doing things.......Uhhh, who has he talked to? I just love the BCS.............
I don't blame you one single bit - BUT it was one of the most exciting 4th quarters this year to watch - of ANY game Les knows how to manage a clock better than that, though. What the hell??
LES MILES is not a SEC coach. He is a complete idiot and the Tigers should be dropped from the Top 25. He is to Tiger Football what Smoke was to Tiger Baseball.
I've seen him coach only 1 good game, and that was against Alabama this year. Other than that one game, it's been talent on the field making up for his presence on their sidelines. I hope that LSU keeps him!
I guess hell freezes over every now and again. I feel for you, though. Remember I lived thru Dubose so I have been there. Believe me.
I was *there* at the Alabama/Florida SEC Championship Game when DuBose didn't know to go for 2 points to tie the game. Lost by 1 point. Who hoo, made the extra point, though!
I think I will just start to refer to him as Mike Ditka. Ditka was a ****ty coach and the 85 Bears won in spite of having Ditka for a coach. Kinda like Miles in '07 which he blew 2 games that years anyway.
corndogs had that one coming...all those near wins that they got by the skin of their teeth came to a screaching halt. lsu didnt deserve to win that game, and it worked out the way it should have. no last minute luck this time. hotty toddy and geaux to hell lsu!
Found this video of a punt return Jeremy Kerley of TCU made against SMU early this season. Watch for the block during the runback by Tanner Brock. He smashed one of the Mustangs after losing his own helmet about 15 yards further back upfield. It was amazing he did not get injured on the block......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99_5nemV85s
