Brudder Douglas u obviously hv not been hanging around Fchat long enough. There is a brudder here that did not keep his car more than 1 tank of gas. So don't even suggest 10 years hahahaha

 

Er, u'd need to coe it & lose the parf value. I guess the engine & chassis+electronics are relatively reliable. Clutch should be less than $10K while we've been often quoted $7K for the job. It can last anything from >1K km to 30k km depending on how you drive it.

S$350K is a true value for an 04 Gallardo IMHO & I believe dealers will offer even less than this. Try selling it & u tell me. I was given an offer from an unscrupulous dealer which is nothing short of insulting.

 

That's actually very worth it after comparing it to the price my dad got our non-HGTE 599 at. Is this before or after options?

unfortunately when I turned up all the spots out front were taken, so they said they wud park it across the street. Silly me thought that meant outside the Merchant Court hotel but instead they parked it downstairs, which I know from past experience is a little tight. it took forever to get the car back but as I was in a rush to get to another event I didn't check for damage. It was until later when I was walking towards the car I cud see the damage underneath from the front right corner. Closer inspection showed that the underside is quite badly scraped & cracked. I know it had to be the valet as the rock incident had happened shortly before Daniel's event, so I'd checked that part of the car just beforehand.

yup it's always a risk .. but lesson learned next time only I park it downstairs/upstairs

 

yeh I hope that's my bad luck over & done with for a while now

no only in for quick fixes at mom .. still awaiting the parts for proper fixes

i feel for you (and lung). got my right rear rim damaged by metal struts sticking out from a concrete barrier along cross street. mrs lim can't do it so have to indent a new rim (and tyre) from audi. $uck$ big time...

and i agree with the brudders, don't worry about hurting the feelings of the valet - always insist on parking yourself. i am not ashamed to say that i am quite offensive sometimes. if there is no good lot, i make them move cars before i park but you must be prepared to tip them well for the hassle.
