Derek, get the 16M bumper and add on the 16M stripes is way to go!

Miles better than the Panamera definitely but I still don't quite fancy it..Side profile looks almost identical to the Jag XK..Rear is improved but it looks like they just pushed the bump of the Panemera down a little..Too much going on for the front grille as well..

Overall, a good effort but not quite there yet.

I think they will approve anything as long as it sells..the Cayenne is a fine example.

I'll seriously consider putting a 16M bodykit .. but I'm not a stripes kinda guy. They look good on other people's cars I just don't like em on mine :)

IMHO, I think the Scud front bumper looks alot better than the regular 430's one.

In addition to my car, there is a coupe and a spider undergoing the Scuderia/16M transformation soon.
The Scuderia front bumper is truly awesome in design and it is the one of two things I would change on a regular F430.
    Cheers

Anyone up for supper/dinner after this?

Btw... since this information is now available on a public forum, isn't there a possibility that we might get stomped?

You're absolutely right! The Scud bumper looks way more aggresive and much nicer than the standard 430 bumper, kudos to you for making such a good decision!

Yes I have to agree. Makes the car look more aggressive. Were there any drilling of holes into the bodywork and will it affect the structural integrity of the car?

Well done bro. Please show us pics when it's done. I remembered u were one of the 1st to have the CF tail plate.

Derek, I'll be out of town or would love to join but I do send my best wishes.

Not much to worry about stomp if u're not doing anything wrong ;)

I just took a spin on the Gt3RS. Very tight package. Open the door & u'll see how low the seats go. Clutch is heavy but I soon forgot about that & the turning radius is small. Goes round corner with zero body roll & the thing seems to be on rails!

Love the "rifle bolt" gearshift. clack, clack....

    Sounds good above 6k rpm

You can feel it's very light, dart about yet it won't send u up the kerb as the power is very linear & predictable.

The down side. It lacks explosive power to thrill u on straight line. Now I know why Harold's complaining :D

Think I'm spoilt by the 6.2. It's really quite difficult to find a replacement.

All fit and finish uses existing original mounting points just like the standard Scuderia.
The new bumpers would give more downforce (less uplift) than the standard F430....we have recently exploited its capabilities at high speed on the NS recently and the car appears to handle better and well planted based on steering feedback and butt feel.

Someone posted this facts about the Stradale vs. F430 F1 CCB vs. Scuderia (German Magazine Sport Auto) a while ago....

    Aerodynamics Cd:
    Stradale: 0.31
    F430: 0.34
    Scuderia: 0.33

Aerodynamics Front Axle Downforce or Lift at 100 kp/h (62.15 mph):
    Stradale: 22 lbs downforce
    F430: 24 lbs lift
    Scuderia: 0 lift

Aerodynamics Rear Axle Downforce or Lift at 100 kp/h (62.15 mph):
    Stradale: 46 lbs lift
    F430: 13 lbs lift
    Scuderia: 9 lbs lift

Yes, thanks for the compliments guys.
I was the lucky first to have the optional CF Challenge grill ordered from the factory.
It just happen to appear on the factory optional list, even HSM was not updated about this fact.
I have posted some pictures on another thread, the conversion was done about 6 months ago. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=139146826#post139146826

sorry Daniel I can't make dinner .. got something on already

as for Stomp .. well if we get stomped it might be for the right reasons for a change .. i.e. doing something good for a terminally ill kid instead of parking in the wrong place. plus as Jon points out .. no need to worry if you don't do anything wrong :)

We just did the front and the sides. I did mine at HSM.
It was not cheap but it was well worth it IMHO.
    Sent you a pm.
