On December 4-5, at MSR in Houston, FORZA Magazine is covering a private challenge race. It is open to all 348,355,360, and 430 challenge cars. The race is to benefit the Texas Childrens Cancer Hospital, and is being organized by Franco Valobra. The race will take place on the 5th. Practice on the 4th and 5th, and a car show on the 6th.

For those of you who have entered in previous races I highly encourage you to come and participate. This is a unique opportunity to keep up the momentum of the private challenge races with good publicity of what we are doing.

It's for charity, and is being organized by Franco Valobra, co-founder of the FrenchQuarter Classic, so you know it will be good.

Please contact Franco at 504-621-9001 for more info.

    You can also post here.

Looks like we have ten challenge cars confirmed already for the race. This will be a great safe race. Please spread the word. We want to have a big grid for FORZA. Help with the momentum and insure the events for next year! Spread the word to all drives, including 355 and 348 challenge cars.

No need. I have an email from Bob somewhere. How many run groups do you anticipate?

we will have 2 run groups for the street cars as of now. we have the Challenge cars in their own group and we have set aside one 20 min slow speed session so that the kids from the Cancer Center can go for non-helmeted rides around the track.

I will have the full schedule out by Wed this week.

Here is the Schedule for the weekend, we are still up in the air on the direction. We can talk about running both directions on Friday and letting the drivers decide if MSR will allow that. I will keep you posted.
