Forget about the 4post lift, you'll need to park real good, get off the car, bring the 4 points under the correct mounting point & then hoist it up. There is another type which is to simply drive up two tight ramps.

I suppose u should just build your house elevated above the "carpark" & have it air-con!

Yes, u're my man. I love the E type to bits, that sexy long nose & air vents. So much so that I would probably own an XK in future. I guess it's a good excuse to take a week long trip to London & choose. The dealers for advertise in magazines & internet these days which makes shopping whole lot easier. What's the count of E-type here? 2 or 3?

Ditto. We can always drive across the causeway & enjoy unlimited days :) Have a friend who does that but then he is a Malaysian.

Used bro. Buy used & tell me, which sports cars above S$500K don't lose S$100K for 1st couple of years?

Well, I was just be gentlemanly :)

My choice will be the SL Pagoda that exudes class & easy use+maintenance. 928 is "too young", there was a nice orig. early 924 but not sure about the shape. 308 will be nice while 328 is so rare & expensive now.

The expensive part will be digging the ground & waterproofing it. Retaining wall etc. Which is like making a pool. I would say S$100K+/- for it & the subsequent maintenance. Provided there's no major power lines or drainage underneath. Your contractor has to call on URA, PUB, Singtel etc.

Best to have a land on elevated ground for obvious reasons which u have.

In short, forget it. Just buy/rent a warehouse for your fleet :)

Well, they said that old cars break down & cause traffic jams :) & they are too analitical to understand the passion for classics. I'm sure we don't mind paying full taxes to have rare classics on the road here. Unless they red card you based on emission & environmental issues :)

Well, I bought it last night. Cos one of the gal is a friend & another is soooo hot but think she's PRC.

Mike knows something that we don't, which church is it? :D

Hmm, your thoughts are on women. Adriana Lima is pretty hot

Actually, I've said this long ago. My house in Geylang has an elevated lift which uses a conveyor belt system. Basically u reverse onto a numbered platform & it'll rotate to bring it up. Nobody has used it since day one for 10yrs now. U need to reverse deep in, any few inches out & your nose will be sliced off by the pillar which has a sensor anyway. So if an idiot don't park properly, all the cars on top won't come down!

Another house nearby has a dug in system but I've never seem him using it either.
