Superfluous supercars...now featuring diamond weave! http://www.luxist.com/2009/11/11/worlds-most-expensive-supercar-diamond-carbon-koenigsegg-trevi/
They're selling all of their special models and have been slowly growing and have built their own identity. I don't want to call it struggling, exactly. The company isn't a bunch of amateurs. They are all passionate and among the best on every field within the company. They are also backed up with a group of very strong financial people.
An extra $3M for some shimmery cf ? Oh yeah thats worthwhile LOL Maybe they can sell to some of those Reventon buying tools who paid an extra $700k for a cheesy body kit A fool and his money are soon parted
Thats just stupid. First the Veyron, then the Revention and now this?. Who the hell buys these million dollar supercars? Paris Hilton?.
I don't get this car at all. I didn't think anything was different about it until I saw the up close pics, and even then I had to look closely to see the carbon pattern. This is just like how Bugatti put blue carbon on it and charged tons extra.
Koenigsegg keeps making these cars and raises their price to offset their slow sales. Thats how it looks to me.
I think even a billionaire has trouble paying that much money for a car which isn't that much different than a 'normal' CCXR. I understand the Zonda models such as the cinque commanding a lot of dorra but not the Koenigsegg. I really want to love this car but I'm struggling.
Agreed, a friend of mine is a billionaire and if not then he's close. He wouldn't go near a car with Diamonds spreaded around the interior and prefers in a simlar style to Jim on here older classical cars with history to them and modern classics like F50/F40 etc.
If there is only three then someone will buy those cars. When the price of oil goes back over $100, don't be surprised one person buys all of them and they end up in the middle east.
Too bad. I hope they don't go the way of Pontiac. Saab's future line up actually looks pretty good, and unique.
I don't know about you guys, but I would definitely take one of these over an Enzo, F1, Veyron, Reventón and Zonda Cinque...
Back in the day Saab's were cool in a quirky kind of way, lately they are just too boring. I haven't seen any long-term future models and in the short term what they will bring to the table is more boring stuff. GM ruined them.
