Leang's like a one man army ninja. He doesn't say much during the day, but once everyone's gone to bed, he appears and magically creates TONS AND TONS of posts :)

There's Greenwood Fish Market/Bistro at the end. Battered fish and chips ftw.

Yeah, I love the place, they recently expanded and now feature an extra eating area next door. It took me forever to figure out that they actually had a restaurant there though -_-" They hide it too well!

And there's also Cafe Iguana + Brewerkz beers at Greenwood now :)

I know of one 24-hr claypot BKT along Joo Chiat which is quite good, but I think parking there is going to be a massive problem.

I think there's another famous one at Zion Road food centre but not sure of the parking conditions there.

Since Friday is a PH, isn't there the possibility that some shops may be closed?

    Yes Boss!

Ok, now I got reason to plan

Depends on your appetite for distance

Taman Sentosa la, Johore Baru. He has two stores within 2 KM.

JB also has the famous Ah Soon BKT.

End of Rangoon Rd as you turn in from CTE. That is Ng Ah Sio.

I recommend Ah Sio if we can finish the drive early enough. Parking there should be ok if we get there before 9am, if not there is always public carpark in the nearby HDB, have to be easy on the throttle in case we get stomped.

2nd will be the Sin Ming one which avantgarde and some of the other chatters are familiar with. Parking is so so.

Zion Road Hawker is good, one of the few places which will serve the fish. However, they work at a very very decent pace, so we wont be able to eat at the same time.

If you guys are game for long drive to Kota Tinngi, I can arrange for BKT at a very special place. Secure parking :)
