Not true. Many use Tutela CS Speed hydraulic oil. You need to stay with what was intended for the car in question. Look in the owners manual for the correct type. It was included with the car for that reason among others.
I stand corrected. I didn't know that they changed fluid and owners manuals in the run of 360's. EDIT: ----- When I did a search on the Tutela I found this: TECHNICAL DATA: ATF Dexron III Mercon ZF TE-ML 11/14 Level BUT, it is fully synthetic so there is a difference that may make mixing a bad idea (depends on formulation). I suspect that this synthetic is better than standard ATF. It should have better cold temp characteristics so cold shifting should be better. It is probably more heat tolerant too and we all know it can get very hot back there.
