Today TFX picked the 308 up to take it to its new owner, very professional. So that brings to an end my lengthy restoration, what a great experience that was but I am a little sad to see it go and the gloomy weather didnt help! Time to get busy on the boxer.

Must feel like an amputation, sortof.

The BB will give you enough headache to overcome the emotions of having to say goodbye to your baby.

You're definitely a sucker for punishment.

Thanks for sharing the process with us, it was an interesting ride!

Bittersweet i guess but time to move on.

Thanks for all the updates/pics during the process.

That's probably the nicest 308 ever.

A moment of silence for your loss! Atleast you have another Ferrari to tinker with.

    Cheers

Paul, now that the 308 is gone, can you swing by my home for a week or so. I have a 308 that needs to be put together by spring 2010.

someone is extraordinarily lucky. Hope you got what you wanted for the car. I almost feel sorry for you, except that I know you have a Boxer in the garage :)

Very nicely done doesn't even come close. Great Work, glad you got photos.

The garage might not look as nice now, but at least the bank account will look better...

Yep, the 'time to move on' addage applies. You learned a ton, taught us plenty, new owner is getting a fantastic car. Car looks as good as ever in the pics.

If you want to practice on a Boxer before you rip into yours, let me know!

Always hurts to see one of your children leave the home!

But...just in time for the 2010 Boxer Restoration epic by Newman.

I have the room Adams send it before I take mine apart and ill do yours first!

Yeah that guy (walter) made the car look little, lol. Seeing it on the lift from the side shows how perfect pinninfarina got the proportions of the car ignoring Walters big head hanging out the side. The 308 is one cool looking car.

Yeah, always love the perspective of how low a 308s profile trully is when next to a person or vehicle especially the clean lines of a GTB. That new owners heart wil be pounding when that car is offloaded.
