G-sensors with the Lite system? Awesome..

Quite a good wide angle on the main and good PIP too I see.

Wonder what cam on side of drivers helmet would work out like.. eg on tight corners car might be pointed one way but you looking way obviously elsewhere through corner etc..

I'm thinking just that re the cam on the helmet

the program for the setup is huge, I could connect a can and then gave gear changes and revs on the screen and there are heaps of settings for screen shots.

the only downside is that the Stilo helmets dont connect or sync up with the video box....we are still running the pov1 system for the commentary.

they have a 430 screen shot for the speedo etc but it takes up so much screen space, have to buy a few 4gb sd cards me thinks.

I think it'd be interesting to get drivers POV on stages.. see how much time spent looking where and when.. also be interesting to see how image stabilisation works with head bobs vs the tiny vibes from a fixed fitting..

How things have moved along to get these near perfect systems available at consumer prices.. agreed on the Stilo's.. hope not far from ideal setup now!

You logging and keeping GPS too? I eat data for breakfast lol.

yup we are keeping the data, if i have time Simon could have taken the unit to tassie for the recce and each stage would be listed onscreen for when we do it and one can then see where we are going....amazing stuff this digital gear, dam shame women arent digital

That's what I prototyped couple systems for in successive Adelaides.. recce with GPS and run live in stage as faultless navigator, worked well.. I'd like to do a V2.0 since proved concept and hardware performance up to scratch.
