What the heck?...
1+ Id have to see some interior and engine photos myself to tell you if its a replica or not. I honestly think its a real car b/c all the body lines are very much properly lined up the right way. Most kits that sit for awhile start rotting out. I wouldn't doubt the possiblitly that person used Replicar bumpers on that car but otherwise it looks pretty solid to be a fake.
looks super fake to me... rear wheels are off, front bumper off, in the door intakes there is no push release button... too much stuff doesnt add up
looks like it but... I think this car is for sale at the moment, a 1980 S2 with white leather (?). so no lights?? back to ferrari?? this MUST be the financial crisis!! or investments in Dubai!
Marcel: The car I posted is an LP400S S3 that is resident in the Haynes Motor Museum's permanent collection. It also has a Senape or Champagne-colored interior, not white. Even though it resides in the museum, it is used quite often and driven to events & shows. As for the "742 TR" plate, that plate was in fact on a Testarossa in the late 80s. correct: different cars, the one Marcel is talking about is 1121188 is an S2 in UK i am not a fan of red on S3 and later cars imo they look better in white or black the red looks pretty good on lowbodies though
yes, black or white is very nice but metalic colours can be nice too, tahiti blue, silver and of course copper is soooooo nice
ah, i see, this is another car, was very hard to tell from the back.. i should have recognized a "highbody"...

Boy, you need to look alot closer at stuff...did you check out the windshield wiper on that thing? Let alone about 20 other glaring mistakes...I emailed him and told him he should'nt be trying to fool people.
23 years later that interior still seems nicely preserved! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
NO, he sold it 10 years + ago with the two SV's to sweden, the current german owner bought it in 2007 and had the engine revised (new bearings) and cleaned. He installed the registration plates for the historical look, they are fakes. Max still posseses 2 Urracos, 1 Silhouette, 1 Jalpa, 1 Espada S3, Diablo which are all for sale on MB Cars for sale
Thanks Raymond for the link. The historical plates are nice touch, especially since they were actually on the car in the first place and they serve as a nice reminder of that charismatic Lamborghini personality, Max Bobnar. He used those same plates on many famed Lamborghinis. I checked my notes, and it appears Max actually sold this LP500S 21 years ago in 1988 to Sven Arvidsson in Sweden. An interesting car for sure.
Coming back to the brake pad question, the CT and Jalpa used ATE calipers identical to BMW, here you can find the matching BMW models: http://cgi.ebay.de/Belaege-Scheibenbremse-BMW-LAMBORGHINI-COUNTACH-JALPA_W0QQitemZ110430390588QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item19b62a093c EBC-Brake Catalogue, Page 166: http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/EBC_2010_Pad_&_Shoe_Catalogue.pdf Countach 4.0 74-81 DP4753R DP4105R 4.8 81-85 DP4753R DP4104R 5.2 85-89 DP4753R DP4104R 5.2 89-90 DP4753R DP4753R BMW M5 3.5 (E28) 85-88 DP4753R I normally buy at http://stores.shop.ebay.de/CarFactorsUk_EBC-QUALITY-BRAKE-COMPONENTS_W0QQ_fsubZ884616016QQ_sidZ767433266QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em14?_pgn=2 He can organize all EBC pads for a very good price, I recently bought for my Audi 80 S2 an entire set (all 4 wheels) for £120, delivery to central europe within 3 days.
