I've seen a few sites with upgrade carbon fiber pieces for the 430... any recommendations on brands or companies?

Is it real carbon fiber, or are they just factory parts with a fake carbon laminate?

Macarbon does very nice lamination work for trim pieces of OEM parts. Laminating is sometimes a much better way of achieving the carbon finish while maintaining the factory quality fit. The lamination is done with real carbon fiber not a fake or cheap substitute.

In other applications an all carbon part can be made and for this I am partial to the parts made by Carbonio. http://www.carbonio.com/performance/brand/ferrari/

I had a set of 360 airbox lids from Rob (aka www.carbonio.com) and they were absolutely stunning. I can highly recommend his company and the CF they produce.

Most of MAcarbon's Ferrari parts are full molded carbon. We do laminates as well for some pieces. It depends on the piece and what is the most appropriate technique to use.

All of our manufacturing is done in-house (although we have a world wide house!) at our workshops in Montreal Canada and Belgium. We do everything but the manufacturing at our office near San Francisco.

We've been a long time sponsor of Fchat and have many satisfied customers here. Feel free to PM me or call the shop (numbers below) to discuss any questions on products or processes you may have.

Just got back from dropping my car off at dealer for winter service and saw the updated book of CF goodies available directly from Ferrari. The extensive list of F430 goodies includes:

    - CF front splitter
    - CF headlight trim
    - CF mirrors (Scuderia style)
    - CF side lower body panel
    - CF engine vents
    - CF rear deck lid
    - CF rear diffuser
    - CF gas lid cover
    - CF door openers

Also of interest are Scuderia style wheels with F430 standard offset and widths.

Perhaps not the best price, but the quality and weave/color match should be spot on.

    Cheers
