I was able to have these made for F-chat members if anyone is interested. Nice quality tan leather with a data plate with your SN engraved!! My cost is $30 if anyone wants one for their Ferrari. Enjoy.

Sorry, but somehow this reminds me of 'writing the PIN directly onto a credit card'.

Please explain, the VIN number is visible just by looking thru the windshield. No big secret about it.

Absurd. Not sure about the connection there my friend. I would think nobody but yourself would care about the last 5 or 6 digits of your Ferrari's serial number. Besides, even if someone read the numbers off your keychain or dashboard, what could they possibly do with it? Here are mine, have fun with them.

    96' F355 SN 104908
    87' Mondial 3.2 SN 68185

    Cheers,

    Stephane

thanks Stephane, now I need the key and have to know, where the cars are parked :)

it's absolutely no problem writing the PIN onto a credit card as long as you keep your card, but what if when you lose it or when it gets stolen ?
I imagine losing my Ferrari key during a several days car event with the VIN on the keychain. Especially with a Ferrari, where - like you confirm - everyone can read the VIN through the windscreen.
Maybe no problem in the US, where everyone trusts everyone ;-), but definitely a problem over here, where a lot of big car events are overshadowed by theft.

    Best Regards from Germany

    Martin

I see your point there, makes sense. At least, engraving the vin onto a keychain is only an option. I still did it on mine, I'll take my chances ;)

    Cheers,

What I need from you Stephane is the Exhaust Tips for the 250 GTO. Everytime they come up, I get outbid. How much to just get them from you? Eventually I will be in need of the Wheels. I was hoping to find the Autograph version, but have not seen them in a long long time. Same as the Autograph Engine Transkit. Can't locate that either.

I have one set of exhaust tips left if you want it ($24 shipped). As for the Autograph wheels, run!!! I don't think one single wheel was finished amongst all the buyers I encountered, extremely difficult and not worth the money. Their engine kit however is superb.
If you want real wire wheels, I have a set in stock, handmade for Scaledetails they are $225 a set but well worth it compared to the stock plastic ones. Easy replacement, just pop out the stock wheels, replace with the real ones along with the metal knock-offs.

I think it looks Great. You can always opt out
of putting the vin on if you don't want that.

It would DEFINATELY help me keep #20405, #22127, and #22641 apart!

I use different colored beer openers to do it, currently!

You know those aluminum camping ones that are shaped like animals?

The red car is the green lizard...

The blue car is the red scorpion...

Then yellow car, it's been so long I can't remember!!!

I got my old girl back, thankfully reclaiming your horsie charms, and the dancing shoes!!!

    PM SENT!
Thanks for the input on the Autograph Wheels. They do look pretty difficult to put together. I will keep my eyes open for the engine kit. I have been contemplating the Wheels you have. I will see what I can do about getting those from you.

    THANKS!
