300 SCoupe. Not the worst car they ever produced, but not a fan. It looks like a cethedral on wheels inbetween all that candy! The ATS pics are great. The rear of it looks like it was designed by Frua, but was it?
Hello. My first post here. I have now read this thread from start to end. What an impressive photocollection. I searching for photos of Oliveira, from Swedish Hedemora races 1954. The car must have been the "375 MM #0366AM". I live near the Hedemora-track, and I am very interesting of info about 1954 races.
Does anyone know what happened to Rick Busenkell? He's the guy in the sunglasses looking back at the camera. Chuck Queener
I picked up on your car in the Minnesota thread "Wheels of Italy". Very nice car and event. I wish they would change the date, since it conflicts with the Milwaukee Masterpiece Councours wich is the same weekend.(I would like to go to both events!) Hello Chuck: I certainly do not, sorry, suggest contacting mutual acquaintances from his area: you can find anybody in two minutes on the internet now. best regards, Marc
Went upstairs at Thepenier quite a few times. I can add that Jean Sage had contracted the GTO (only) with Thepenier, but was outclassed by Tom Price who bought the lot, an offer Thepenier could not refuse. Jean Sage was absolutely furious and had a lawyer on the (lost) case. Patrick
Chuck: I see a bit like Walter Medlin someone not too keen on modern communication devices Patrick: Thank you very much for the info: interesting and makes complete sense. I am tracking down Jean Loup Thepenier (actually found him but have not yet been in touch) now for unrelated research so will ask about that for more info as well: merci! To all who enjoy this thread: have you seen this: (sorry if it is a repost) http://www.virhistory.com/vir/marques/ferr-gallery-01.htm It shows a wonderful collection of the very special Ferraris, including 0798 a favorite of mine, seen at various events in period at VIR Virginia International raceway perhaps North America's prettiest and challenging road course, still free of advertising hoardings etc today. The notorious Gordon Tatum can be seen driving 0844, Bob Grossman in his 330LMB, amazing. best regards, Marc
i Just bought a few originals prints on Ebay and wanted to share with the community... Here's the rarely seen 5095GT at Le Mas Du Clos (June 1987). anyone has more pics of her? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is Clay Regazzoni in Fiorano's circuit, seen at right the little house-deposit. The car is the 312 T2 for the season 1976, but presented in the last days of 1975. In the 1976 was utilized the chassis 025, 026 , 027, 028 (this last destroyed in the Lauda's accident at Nurburgring August,1). In the 1977 other news chassis: 029, 030, 031 (the number 030 destroyed after Villeneuve accident at GP of Japan 1977). The presentl owners from my research, but whitout recent adjournment: 025 E.Stieger (CH) 026 Chris MacAllister (USA) 027 For sale by Pro Trade (D) at 2001 029 ex Setton and ex Obrist, now Bernie Ecclestone 031 Colin Bach (USA) Merry Christmas at all.
Not so old, but here are a few from 1986, showing 0392 at Pebble Beach. Astute observers will recognize J. M. Fangio, owner Kerry Manolas, and even your poster telling lies, as usual. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And a few of 0392 while temporarily in my garage, before resto, with Pontiac power (?) and auto trans. Kerry did an outstanding job. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

thanks for all the pics and stories, gentleman. I really like to come and read this thread... Feliz Ano Nuevo
I love this thread, but am running out of photos. What qualifies as "old"? Here are some from the 1989 MM. Shown, I think, are 0040M, 0142A, 0215EL, and 0228AT (with Tillack).
